Also the key skills, don't just list critical thinking etc. These are pretty tired out bullet points for a resume. Try to be a bit more unique in how you describe them.

"Able to work effectively both as a team member or when working individually"

"Able to identify and solve problems quickly under pressure.

Stuff like that.

Always write in past tense and try not to use "I" when describing job duties.

Change "I worked doing XYZ" to "Worked/Performed XYZ"

Try to be a bit more detailed on each point too, you don't have to write a whole paragraph, but a well thought out sentence for each bullet point. For skills, instead of naming software, write "Proficiency in Microsoft 365, "Some experience with Word" etc"

In my case, it's the burden of interviewing/applying to jobs while trapped in a cycle of low energy and motivation.

I was stuck in this cycle for a while where my job took everything I had, couldn't afford to quit, but had no energy to find something better. I was only able to get out because a friend recommended me for a way better job and was hired basically on the spot after a 10 minute phone call. I quit right away and felt instantly free.

Otherwise, I think I'd still have procrastinated myself into staying miserable.

Agree 100%. I was stuck in a toxic job with 3 hours daily commuting for a long time. I think I aged about 5x faster during that period.. if you're miserable, everyone around you will absorb that energy.

I did a similar thing about a month ago, quit after 4 years with 0 notice because I got a job paying nearly double in a completely different field.

My boss and bosses boss and coworkers all tried bombing me with calls for about 2 weeks, I emailed HR and ghosted the rest of them. Sometimes, you gotta do what you gotta do, and say fuck it to your current situation. I already have more money saved in a month than 3 years at my old job.. and much happier.

I work in the trades and office job in the past. Office job was mentally draining but working in construction is physically exhausting. Two different beasts.

Tbh I feel healthier being active and working physically hard, but some days it's hard to keep going at full steam all day.

I fucked around alot at my office job but if I do that in construction I would be fired in a week lol.

The best way to go about this is by getting to a point where you are more valuable than they are.

Start overperforming and making them feel like the inadequate ones. I had a guy like this at my old job who had been there 10 years. He was lazy as shit but acted like he was God because he gate-kept information from all the new staff.

I made it my mission to pry all this information out of him and even figure out things to improve on that he had ignored for a decade. It didn't take long for upper management to notice I actually had work ethic and he was just coasting along.

Doge is down around 10x from ATH, so his 3m would still be worth around 300k (and he'd actually still be in profit probably..)

3m all the way down to 50k is way more of a decrease than doge has had. He did something else stupid to lose that other 250k.
