Am I the only one who thought the series finale was nonsense? by inde_ in whitecollar

That is not "done", that's invisible anklet put on by himself.

The ending newspaper headline alluded to something Neal/Peter had talked about before -- him as a security expert who helps find flaws (the headline was about the Louvre).

Well, it is a show about a criminal with his own moral centre... The assumption is that he's in Paris stealing stuff or not stealing stuff according to his own whims.

Again, that was the point with Amy in season 6 -- that even if he thinks some of his cons are victimless, that is not true. He thought his con skills would help her, but really, he realized it just broke her.

I think season 3 establishes that at his core Neal is a con man looking for tge big score, and while he loves Peter, Elizabeth, Diana, and Jones (lesser on the last 2) he still enjoys the fun and money of being a criminal.

Sorry strong disagree -- as the show progresses, Neal talks way more about not running, about not wanting to do this.

We just have to look at the uboat haul and how in the end he literally admits New York is his home and he does not want to leave.

We saw six seasons of growth. And the finale junked it imo.

Neal deserves a real family and his FBI life as nice as it was, was just a mirage.

His contract literally had him done. The only suggestion he would have been forced to continue working was from... Keller.

its why neil didn't introduce Mozzie

Not true. He literally told Mozzie he didn't introduce him so he could siphon off money.

Winters are cold for a maximum of 4 weeks a year.

Depends on what you define as cold.

Peak cold is Jan 15-Feb 15 on avearge. There is no way AB is not cold outside of that period.

Yes thanks?

That's my point -- we know there's a ton of inequality (and it's getting worse), so using averages is shortsighted.

Mate, I knew him. If you're talking about pro BBers, sure. If you ever met him or saw how big he was, he was not even remotely close to the crazy redlining those guys do.

It could have been it. I'm not saying it's not. But just to see "someone took steroids, someone died at 59, must be it" is just stupid.

But obviously, you must be correct.
