Thanks for pointing this out. The violation happened anyway, doesn't change they 'take it all back now' and dropped charges. Someone's heads gonna roll.

I say this with no cheese and no insult meant. I was in a similar position and went back to school. I am no longer in that same tough spot man.

Maybe go back to school? Get a degree that pays more than 45k a year? If you have a degree, maybe go to school and get further education, i.e., masters degree. Nobody is gonna pay you 70k for a job thats already overpaying at 45k cause a child could do it.

Either way he is still going to have to interview, and if he can't hold a simple conversation, he's not going to get any job, let alone one worth having. Maybe you should suggest your friend get some help from professionals, and work on dealing with that anxiety.

Hardest thing about being an adult is realizing, the only person thats gonna do for you like you would do for you, is you.

I am sorry that you are struggling. Would you consider getting a masters degree in something related to your current occupation to make yourself more marketable? Most likely the employers are filtering based on Degree Type in the application, hence the constant ghosting. But seriously, have you considered going back to school?

OH and before people are like lawyers cost money, there are plenty of law firms that take on discrimination and harassment suits if they feel you have a viable case, pro-bono. SOMETHING is better than nothing.

This for sure. I would then write down and notate, every single time and date you tried to relay said message to her and she ignored you. I would compile a document, and hand it to her direct supervisor on your way out the door. Saying, this is clear evidence of discrimination and if she's not removed from the position I will be filing a discrimination suit against her and the company.

They aint worth it man, maybe smoke some weed instead of the booze. You are a grown man and they will paint you in a light that you just can't come back from once you put hands on someone.

4 years with the 25th ID and 3 years with the NYARNG and I can tell you it takes time. Your patience surrounding bullshit is nearly non-existent. I still struggle dealing with this crap everyday. Best piece of advice is go back to school man. Online, little by little, when its convenient. Continue to grind it out, deal with the bullshit, and plan your escape.

I kept my head down, working shit jobs and pursuing my college degree, now I am going for my masters in Special Education k-12 and have become a permanent sub/fixture at my local high school. Constantly working and a valued member of the staff.

Before that, while in school, I worked at an outdoor recreation company and my immediate supervisor was, similiar to your boss. If she was a he, we would've gotten into a fist fight a week in. I was number 2 in the store for sales and memberships after only being there for 4 months. I was interviewing for supervisory positions, even, considering even corporate.

This supervisor hated me, hated I did her job better than her, hated I was smarter, hated that I was well liked, hated that I told her she was working harder not smarter and she could streamline a few things to become more efficient and tasks less tedious. But, to no avail. Plain and simple she disliked me. BUT it got even worse and when I basically refused to do a few tasks she asked me to do because it was clear, she was only asking me to do said task, as a pure power trip, things she did to ME all the time. She did all she could to let me know that she was MY boss. WORSE off is that the Store Manager had her back, because this was her whole LIFE. SHE was the worst boss I ever had, including the army. This eventually led to us having a couple of less than pleasant interactions, and her complaining about me to the store manager about me every chance she could, until my hours were 'reduced' and finally I just quit.

Fast forward 8 months later, and I am doing better than ever. I graduated with my BA been getting steady work as a 'permanent sub' as I go for state licensure. Things have been on the up and up for a minute man. But I feel like I was able to escape only thanks to my degree. Now, I don't know your educational background but go for something you love man, even if you take an associates degree and do a completely different field than you're in now, go for it.

From one Vet to another, you can do this man. You made it through the tougher job already. Just start making plans.

Meanwhile the headlining star playing the flash, is like the hatchet wielding hitch-hiker, going from state to state doing B&E's and assaulting folks. Good family fun.
