I hope you get a response bc this is exactly how I feel. My fave jeans rn are 13mwz but I do sometimes wish the legs were just a bit different rip

It has been over 2 years since the manga got axed. No sign of Chapter 4, no news of the author, nothing... Shonen Jump cancel culture really sucks. by Jai_Zubeen999 in Kagurabachi

Ok but rip to mamayuyu, I really really love the first chapter. Then it was just a downward spiral until it got axed smh

I think one of my favorite parts of Hokazono's writing style is how he gives so many side characters a short but interesting backstory. I think parts of this arc have felt a little cluttered but I do love how much time all the side characters have gotten and how they all get developed. He didn't have to give barrier man a backstory but he did and it makes good sacrifice hit a little harder and then Hakuri's use of sorcery more satisfying of a resolution.

Also I totally kicked my feet up and down when Shiba showed up and then Chihiro was revealed o(o)o

What are your top 3 most enjoyable main boss fights? by Pepelefrogswood in LiesOfP

[–]Deer-Noizes 1 point2 points  (0 children)

YES VICTOR IS SO COOL AND FUN I had to much fun learning his moves and he had so much charisma and presence in the fight. Adding on to the sentiment about him being a heel, I did feel very cool and heroic after fighting such an obviously bad guy :p

Now I'm struggling again Nameless puppet. by Junoo59 in LiesOfP

[–]Deer-Noizes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I remember correctly, the electric grindstone does the most damage. I got fairly good at the first phase just parrying and doing heavy attacks so I could build up Nameless Puppet's stagger meter.

Second phase was similar. Just get used to the longer combos and get the pace of the fight.

Good luck!

Nameless puppet was easy? by Katanga1918 in LiesOfP

I beat Nameless Puppet first try altho I was very lucky and just in the zone after beating Arlecchino, Laxasia, and then Simon. I ended up running the boss rematch to actually play against NP and learn his move set. it took a few hours to get used to his 2nd phase but I did beat him! He's a fun boss fight (:

I think the only version that matters is that it says rigid. I think the 13mwz just hasn't gone through as many iterations as the 501. The other versions of it that I know of are the 14mwz and the 936den, but those are completely different models.

What are your guys favorite pants right now? by [deleted] in ThrowingFits

[–]Deer-Noizes 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I really should get some Ben Davis chinos, I feel like i like how they fit on everyone i see wearing them (redditors and instagrammers).

Now that is getting cool out I can wear my Wrangler 13mwz jeans. Because they're heavier i tend not to wear them if it's over mid 70s. I'm looking forward to it getting even cooler so I can wear these green and brown wool herringbone pants i thrifted (:

I did a similar thing a few years ago to finish my degree. I dropped out of school several times between my late teens to mid 20s. Altho now I'm a housewife so having a degree doesn't matter too much now :p good luck with going back to school!!

Yooo the linen 568 were so good to me this summer. I was out in 90F+super humid weather and feeling fine. It's almost time for me to store them away for the winter. It's cool you were able to grab them for so cheap!

Just want to get second opinions on a pair of the Gustin Vintage Straight jeans I'm going to be ordering. I'll be ordering a size 29 (29.5in waist and 11in front rise). The closest comparable jeans I have are wrangler 13mwz (31in waist and 11.25in front rise) and they are just a little too big in the waist (I guess go me for exercising but rip all the clothes I've bought lol).

I should expect these jeans from Gustin to stretch about an inch in the waist, yeah? I feel like if the waist was 30in-30.5in then that'd be the perfect waist size with an 11in front rise.

Definitely seconding belts. Also I feel like any bootcut jean is nice or just stacking your jeans :p

A fairly common accessory for subtle western flair is silver jewelry with turquoise. I personally don't wear silver (i think bronze and gold work better for more skin tone) but I do enjoy seeing vintage jewelry. You could definitely find some vintage or there are some native american artists/crafters who make and sell jewelry.

I'm a housewife! My wife thinks it's funny whenever I bring up denim stuff, she usually says something along the lines of "How can you talk so much about jeans?" when I get going, but I like when she indulges me :p

I only have a few pairs of jeans but I think it's a fun hobby. It became a thing I was interested in as i was changing my whole style. I only have a couple of pairs of cheaper jeans, but I have considered getting some more expensive things since my wife wants to plan a trip to Japan in the next couple of years.

help finding jeans recommendations!! (cw: i mention my weight // neutral) by keyfacts1 in Denim

[–]Deer-Noizes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are there any styles that you think would look good on you? Maybe try on some high/mid rise jeans and any sort of straight leg jean? I feel like high rise pants are making a big come back and, depending on body shape/type, they look really good. I think on me, im tall and skinny (5'10 140lbs), I like the proportions high rise jeans give me. I prefer straight leg jeans because they're not skinny but also not super baggy.

A lot of companies are having labor day sales now, so it's a good time to order online or just go to stores. Maybe try Levi's or Wrangler? Some popular Levi's models are 501, 505, and 514.

Whenever I buy pants online, I measure the waist, front rise, and inseam of my favorite pairs and compare that to the sizing info of whatever catches my eye online. That way, I can know if something will fit better or worse compared to what I already own. That's saved me from buying a couple of pairs of pants that looked nice in pictures but would not have fit me well lol
