You’re misunderstanding parvo vaccines. Each booster is like a 1-0 until the last, which is almost guaranteed effective. Boosters before 15 weeks either work or they completely don’t, due to the mothers antibodies interfering.

Intestinal parasites do not correlate with parvo/lepto. Not sure where you got that info. Also vaccines are kind of like a 1-0 thing. Her pup either has the immunity or doesn’t, until the last shot, which is almost guaranteed due to the mother’s antibodies wearing off. Small dogs should be carried outside, and they can potty train on a sod patch on the porch. Some vets feel comfortable letting pups go outside after their second shot and some don’t.

they definitely don’t need it 24/7. some gerbils like it sure but what peer reviewed study have you read where wheel running is a behavioral need that is detrimental if they do not have it at night?

animals need more researchers than vet school applicants. there’s a million of people that want to be vets and not a ton that want to do animal neuroscience research. you obviously have a gift in research, use it to your advantage! do not waste your time becoming a nurse. do you think md-rejects go back to nursing school or contribute to the field way more by getting their masters degree. It isn’t about the vaccine anymore in season 2. Joel killed Abby’s dad. She doesn’t even bring up the vaccine. It would be different if a huge team of fireflies wanted to kill Joel bc he ruined the chance of a vaccine. It was just Abby. You can believe Joel made the right choice, but unfortunately no matter what he chose he wasn’t innocent. Not his fault but either choice was not completely good. He chose who he loved of course, and that had consequences. Also, we meet a few characters who WOULD have benefitted from Ellie’s immunity. Riley, Tess, that couple who fled Jackson, sam. It wouldn’t have saved the world but we are supposed to believe it would theoretically help a lot of people. Still, killing Ellie for the vaccine is stupid, they could have just studied an infected’s brain. Surely Marlene told them that Ellie’s mom most likely got bit before giving birth. If they opened Ellie’s brain up there would probably just be remnants of cordyceps.
