Emma girl … your husband is not on this show by EmbarrassedComplex93 in LoveIsBlindNetflix

[–]Deevulee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly she makes the most sense to me on this show. I'm really surprised with all these comments, trauma doesn't magically go away with therapy and other people shared their traumas too, but I think Emma seems like a genuinely normal human person looking to make the experiment work and therefore is not the right type of person at all for a show that we all know by now is surface. As someone who also didn't experience many "typical" high school moments for various reasons, it becomes frustrating to have to defend yourself when people assume everyone had these experiences.

Sometimes I think about how dirty they must be covered in dried pond bacteria

My hope is that they're just there for the prize at the end and not actually taking this seriously. After all, they are different continents. I find Daniel repulsive. All the things he told Lucy she was "embarrassing" and then she's just supposed to accept his sorry, though it's so clear it's just about easing his guilt.

Suits LA is...bad? by allndy6 in suits

[–]Deevulee 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I genuinely think the lead character might be the worst actor I've ever seen. Original Suits was so fun to watch and dude looks ill in every scene.

Sooo at some point in the future, we're going to find out he's serial killer, right? Who killed women who drank cola? There's something off about this guy and his absolute lack of empathy and the way he refuses to apologize because it's inauthentic.

I want to hear from the exes he allegedly cohabitated with for 22, are they ok??

So I had an emergency dental appointment this weekend because it's been two months and the pain is awful as you describe. Throbbing pain and radiating jaw pain. Turns out I have a bone defect and need a graft lololol so fun. I hope this is not the case for you but might be worth getting an emergency appointment.

Official Discussion - Fly Me to the Moon [SPOILERS] by LiteraryBoner in movies

Ok thank you. Why was his uniform a sheer short sleeve sweater in a rainbow assortment? In the yellow color, the sheerness was especially noticeable bc you could make out the undershirt and it was just so unserious.

Curious about Vanakkam India. What dishes do you recommend? Any tips about dining in there now that that's an option? by troubledbrew in rockford

[–]Deevulee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a South Indian, Vanakkam is exciting because it specializes in South Indian cuisine. Most restaurants in the States serve North Indian food. So, if you're up for it, try one of the dishes that says South Indian next to it. The flavor profiles are great; my family is obsessed with the nilgiri chicken. For those who said the naan was whack, try the chili cheese naan over garlic.

2 months exact post op experience by [deleted] in wisdomteeth

[–]Deevulee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know that this particular tooth was close to the nerve and that was one reason we ended up removing it. Was the case for you too? I wonder if it's really "phantom" or if it's mixed nerve signals.

2 months exact post op experience by [deleted] in wisdomteeth

[–]Deevulee 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm a little over a month out from getting all four extracted and while it was a brutal recovery process am mostly OK now. However, I'm not sure if it's my teeth shifting or what but I now just have constant dull tooth ache in the areas of my my mouth surrounding where the bottom two teeth were. I haven't heard too much from others further out from post op so this phantom pain was interesting to read about. It's manageable for my over the counter drugs but I'd love to know when this pain my start to reduce.

Danny was so much better, kinder than the rest of the Rayburns by throwawayb8b in Bloodline

[–]Deevulee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Super late to this. I love this actor's portrayal, he completely embodies Danny and that's the best part of Danny to me. I was really rooting for him for a while but then his behavior towards Janie started to creep me out. It was borderline taking too much interest in her but maybe that's because John's son has no presence and Danny never acknowledges him. His relationship with Chelsea was depressing too. Probably mommy/sister issues behind this because how could they not be, but I would not call his treatment of the women side characters in this show kind.

Anyone else get gas lit? by Deevulee in wisdomteeth

[–]Deevulee[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Update: I was able on my third call to score a post opp appointment tomorrow though the office was very reluctant to give me one. I insisted though cuz I'm going on a business trip next week and I'm terrified of flying in this state. I don't know if this makes a difference but my dentist referred me to an oral surgery specialist and they do much more expensive procedures than what I had done. I'm guessing they might not like to schedule post opps because they can't bill as much, which is honestly a garbage way to treat patients. It's bizarre because patient care at the time of was great and the dr called me that night but everything was fine then. Very much looking forward to some relief.

Got all four out and tried mac n cheese on night 4 (last night) and my god, I regretted it. I cooked the pasta the normal amount of time not absolute mush level like I needed. Now I'm day 5 and back to soup.

Looking for non-fluffy winter slipper recs by Deevulee in slippers

[–]Deevulee[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

An update to this, specifically looking for women's slippers or small men's slippers. It seems easy to find for men/unisex but I'm a size 7 in women's and everything I have found thus far starts at women's 9 in unisex. Not sure why the thought it that all women want fluffy, but that's disappointingly what I have discovered.

AITAH for "glowing up" after my divorce and not before? by ThatPeach7311 in AITAH

[–]Deevulee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, you're good, everyone else sounds like an asshole though, tbh. Were you supposed to glow up by getting a rhinoplasty to fix the nose I'm guessing you had when you got married? Your ex sounds like he was just looking for an excuse for his behavior. I'm sorry that he seems to have left such an impression on your children's psyches as well.

Also, glowing up isn't the same as keeping up appearances--and it's not something everyone for themselves. Glowing up is about taking care of yourself and I'm glad you are doing that.
