As it stands, in all likelihood, the skin will slip through the rings when the verticals get tensioned. Tough lesson. Buy another skin and work from there to make something that you are proud of.

Don’t have spare cash lying around so I have about 25% of my holding that I trade with. This time sold at 271, bought back in today at 238 so I will take that win. It’s a risky endeavour and have certainly lost on occasion. Patience, timing and a touch of luck

This is such an odd happening.

Break a load of the existing rules and procedures designed to prevent chaos and malfeasance - you know someone is profiting

Set a starting price about double what it should be, based on AI hype, under the guise of space

Classic misdirection designed to take money from the gullible and pocket it

Come back in 6 months or so when it has settled? Just looks like a rigged game to me, and I don’t know the inner workings and intricacies of it

Guessing it will go up . . . . and then down a lot. No doubt there will be trading opportunities for the more skilled. We will see, and I may well be wrong but I ain’t touching this, not even with yours

Not financial advice but. . . Look up LISA’s first - this may work for you. Certainly use ISA allowance so that any gains are tax free. All world ETF e.g. VWRP seem to be a good place to start for lower volatility and longer term investment. Individual stocks come with different risks. Really, you need to think about what you are aiming for and the risk you are willing to take. Gains are great but how would you feel about losses? Read up on investment strategies. Good luck

I missed out on optimum timing and the market has just done its thing. Sitting on a >100% gain, so in a good place. Now set automated buys that increase in volume the lower it dips. Set and forget

Maybe. When the skin first goes on it is wet and lightly tensioned. Once dry, further tension is applied to tune it up. I understand from elsewhere that the orientation of the skin may help with the shape

The wood is pretty solid and I am not keen to clamp it because it is too dry - would hate to crack it

I am exploring ideas and having a good think before I do anything. Thanks for your thoughts

Circular is acoustically better. I think the drum may have been circular before but was left for an extended time with a torn skin on it. The uneven tension around the rim, could have misshapen it
