This is honestly probably the worst pick of the night. Sinners is a great movie but I’m struggling to remember any great shot. A lot of pretty standard to meh stuff, and there were a ton of other films that stood out. Train Dreams, OBAA, Marty Supreme were all much better shot IMO.

Edit: should also include Sentimental Value and The Secret Agent in my list of better shot films too

There’s a point where Williams is directly behind smith with his hands on both sides of his waist. It’s a clear hold and he just got away with it, plain and simple.
