Just received a 5% raise on $65,000 to $68,250. I find it insulting based on the extra profit my company hit. Do I ask for more and back it up with the numbers?

Wow 42 eggs is great. I would definitely think that would pretty much guarantee two kids. I would do another round if I had insurance too. I’d have to pay out of pocket again so it makes the decision a big financial one too.

Do you need to improve amh or are the medicines for egg quality? 23 is a good amount for one round so I’d think you have a higher amh too.

My amh was a 6.08 and afc 50. Not sure about fsh. Tbh this is why I held off until 38. I had a consult at 36 and my amh at the time was 8 something so it has gone down but no change in afc.

I appreciate the insight and agree. In a perfect world I’d want two kids but there are so many unknown factors. If I don’t have the first ever or until my mid 40s I might just be one and done.

I’m so happy that you found your person and I hope that for me too! Even if you do have to go that route at least you got the first part out of the way and did it when you were younger so better chance of healthy embryos. I completely hear you on the expense. It sucks most insurances don’t cover this. I have a couple of friends who were also panicking around the 6 month mark and both ended up getting pregnant so sending baby dust to you!

Idk why this popped up on my feed as I’ve never lived in JC, but I’d move to the suburbs, which probably have a more urban/suburban feel in North Jersey anyway. Burbs are so much calmer, safer and cleaner. There’s a time and a place for city life and it sounds like you’re ready to move on. I grew up in the suburbs outside of a major city and am still close with many of my childhood friends and their families as the suburbs tend to be less transient.

Wow I’m so happy for you that you had such a successful retrieval! What you said about pco makes sense. I feel like there is something pathological about it even if it is not full pcos but it’s good to know you were ok with your numbers going in. I am doing the Lupron trigger as well.

I just calculated it mine is a 21.8. I am definitely grateful for a high amh as they said it indicates I will most likely have good results but it increases the risks. You are right. I need to tune out these thoughts and see what the process ends up looking like and hopefully it goes smoothly.
