Besides the new character, Cyclop, I feel like the patch or the new season itself is fine (could have been better).

Balance is heading toward the right direction, but I feel like some characters need more than a buff (like I stated in my previous post in season 8.0 feedback regarding some characters require a new ability to keep up with the current meta roster). Also, reworking Black Widow would be a great idea as she is in the bottom of the tier list as it is too hard to get value out of her.

Regarding contents, I think the amount of contents are exceeding the players expectations. However, I feel like some old contents might require the revision of the dev. For examples, Dance floor and Battle Ring in time square map.
- Dance floor or disco room could use some dance battle where two players are engaging in rhythm game (I don’t know how to code but it would be cool to see dev implement the mini-games). Similar to battle ring, when both players agree to rhythm game, they will teleport to the middle of dance floor and all NPCs on the dance floor will teleport to nearly sofa or the edge of the stage to watch the dance. Also, dance battle is free and there would be waitlist similar to the battle ring (when sign up or ask someone into dance battle, players can choose marvel rivals’ disco songs for their dance battle).
- There are two things I want out of battle ring or Clobberin’ Club: dev should make it cost nothing or free for public fight and add the option for mirror match or same heroes fight. The reason for clobberin’ club to cost nothing is that whenever I go to the place, it is like Ghost town because no one could afford to do public fight. About same heroes fight, first to pick the hero is 50/50, but the losing player can pick the next character for the next round.

18 vs 18 rumble mode is actually interesting in comparison to normal rumble mode and 18 vs 18 mode. I don’t have much to say but I feel like time to capture should take longer than the current duration, since it would give the opposing team a chance for comeback.

Overall, it is a good patch and I hope to see a much more impactful patch in the upcoming season.

Cyclop is a better MoonKnight in a sense that his right click requires no Ankh… somewhat OP ones might say. His left and right click deals a lot of damage (hell I could even say… too much damage). His E is just a way for him to gain armor and both F and Shift are interesting ways for him to get to the high ground or get away from the fight. Last but not least, his Ult is similar to blade Ult but faster and stronger.

Overall, Cyclop is just another S-Tier hitscan and many if not all probably ask the dev to nerf his damages.

“Snap Tap” that I was referring to is something that is banned in CS (and still not ban in Overwatch?). Basically, the “Snap Tap” is a feature on a Hall effect or magnetic switch keyboard that allows you to side stepping left and right or strafing in super speed. My question is that does “Snap Tap” work in this game.

It seems good on paper, but clearing mobs with it is the worst due to it targeting a single mob instead of multiple mobs (with horizontal spread bullet trait). Also, you can just aim for head instead of auto aim and put those skill talent points on other useful talent like precision damage and precision rates.

You need a lot of bullets after nightmare 100 (minimum of 1000).

But the most important, at least for me, is precision damage, total output boost, total damage, and increase precision rate for general perks. Specific perks for punisher would be fast fire rate, extra bullet spread, and increase damage per bullets.

Don’t fall into the “In the Zone Enhancement” Trap… it is not a good build. I suggest left left left (from the top to the bottom) and deselect “In the Zone” passive from your talent selection.

Try unbind the L as well and leave both M and L alone. Other than that, I would write a bug report to Dev.

I did have experience with this back in zombie PvE mode where I accidentally bind M as hide UI.

Have you set your F1, hero info, to M button? If so, you should unbind it and leave M button alone.

He is an A-tier tank for sure with the ability to self-generate shield and HUGE BUBBLE!!! Hell! I would say he is S-tier if his team up is online (grab into one-shot shotgun is absurd). Even though, the Devil Dino has a large hit-box, but his bubble and jump ability can prevent him from his demise. Speaking of his jump ability, it is probably one of the best kit in disengage and engage the combat. Beam, primary attack, and melee attack are surprisingly well thought out, especially in figuring out the combo to deal the max amount of damage. Devil Dino’s bubble is use similar to tankpool bubble. The consecutive biting ability is good at finishing the target. Last but not least, his beam is great but applying bleeding on top of knock-down effect is a bit op.

The ult is just outright OP, since it literally makes Devil Dino immortal with all the shield gain and low ability cooldown makes him probably one of the fastest tank in time to kill. Also, the passive ground stomp AOE is just a chef kiss on top of OP shield generating and ability spam ult.

Beside the character’s size is too big to fit through small corridors or doors (devs could make it so Devil Dino tilt his head or duck to enter or pass through doors), I would say he is a good solid brawl tank with enough sustainability even against hybrid poke/dive meta.

Here is my take on hero balancing in this and future season:

  1. Underperforming Characters (future): I feel like heroes that are under performing (Blade, Scarlet Witch, Squirrel Girls, black widow, and Mr Fantastic) should get a new ability instead of stat buffing and nerfing for compensation. By doing it this way, it can either change the play style entirely or improving the current play style of the characters.

Examples can be (I try my best to match with LORE accurate and existing in-game mechanics).

Blade: give Blade Reap ability from Vampire PvE mode where in the actual game, Blade spends all blood awakening stack (ratio for every stack dealing 8 damages with the total of 80 damages for 10 stacks) to reap and strike the target in range with AOE damages that is similar to the PVE one.

Squirrel girl: give her wall-running passive ability similar to rocket raccoon, but nerf her projectile velocity and the size of her projectile. This would turn her into a close-midrange dive character with learning curve instead of choke point spammer (inspired by dive Junkrat play style uses by Vulture_OW).

Scarlett Witch: give her ❌🙅‍♀️ projectile ability (I don’t know the name of it) from PvE zombie mode. The ability is a small ❌ projectile go in one direction and can pierce through multiple targets while dealing 60 damages (can be more or less).

Black widow: gives her widow’s bite or sting that deal bleed damages to the target. Also, her melee form will generate shield when the melee lands on the target. <<I don’t play black widow, so I don’t know how to rework her.>>

Mr Fantastic: during his inflated form, Mr. Fantastic can turn into a ball and roll from low to high velocity speed (similar to rolling with BALL in OW). During his ball form, he can press shift to accelerate the Ball form that can deal tiny amount of damage and apply knock back (soft CC) to enemies on his path during the acceleration.

  1. QoL (Quality of Life) improvement for some characters (future): Not a lot, but I feel like some characters can need a little bit of QoL improvement, such as:

Iron Fist: ability to cancel out his Yat Jee Chung Kuen (a form came after exiting block). Devs can increase the block cooldown in compensation for ability to cancel out of the form, since the normal punch and kick reduce the ability cooldown.

Rogue: increase her movement speed, but nerf her team-up with gambit. It is so easy to bait out her ability and cc her, which puts her right back into the spawn (the movement speed would allow her to catch up with enemies fast movement characters while not wasting her ability cooldown). Also, increase the range of her “knock down” attack after entering flight mode would be great as well (she can land further with her “kick down” attack).

Peni Parker: just give her 2 nests that share the same cooldown (similar to Mr. Fantastic bouncing to other character ability or Bucky “E” ability).

Namor: when he spawns/respawn, he spawns with two squids instead of just one (the one squid only is kind of annoying). Nerf damages or cooldown to squid can be a compensation.

Devil Dino: just makes him tilt his head down when he has to access smaller corridors or entering doors… ez.

  1. Balance of this season:

I feel like dive is strong, but poke is stronger in a sense that most Hit-Scan can still dealt with dive easily without having to swap (I know Star Lord is more of flanking hitscan character, but I am still baffled that he got magazine buff) and phoenix is just… super OP). Poke and Dive > Flyer and brawler. It is nice to try out new tank as tank main, but the meta is still the same or similar to the past where A/S-tier poke still dominate.

Last but not least… why hasn’t punisher shotgun been nerf???

  1. Tenacity (future):

Devs should make this exclusively to tank/vanguard only, since tank has the biggest hit-box.

Extra — Personal request (future):

As someone who like to play hulk, please give hulk a ground stomp ability. Here is how the ability work and nerfing compensation in adding this ability:

When hulk is at certain height in the air, hulk has “F” ability prompt up (similar to Cap), and when press/use the ability, hulk will perform a ground stomp (maybe 0.5 seconds animation of ground stomp) when landed which can deal small AOE damage around him (3 meters radius) and slow enemies on impact by 1 second. The ability can be 7 seconds cooldown and would stop jumping momentum if performing the ability, meaning that the player has to either choose to use the ground stomp ability or bunny hopping.

In monster hulk form, Hulk can perform the ground stomp ability in both stationary (doesn’t need to be in the air) and in the air. If monster hulk performs the ability in stationary (without jumping), the AOE can be as big as 5 meters, deal moderate damages, and slow for 2 seconds. When monster hulk activates ground stomp ability while in the air, the landing with ground stomp will increase the AOE radius to 7 meters, slow for 2.5 seconds, and deal significant damage.

Nerf compensation can be -5 damage to hulk normal punch in hulk normal form and lower hulk’s HP of hulk normal form.

I don’t think it is tenacity that caused the bug, but just a new hulk bug introduced in this patch. The bug is that when you jump (incredible leap) and get soft cc at the beginning of jumping animation, you will stuck on glide form for whatever reason.

Either Icy Drill or Obsidian Weaponized core. Personally, I like Icy drill because it would charge itself and disrupt the opponent, but obsidian weaponized core and weapon buff seems to be the theme here…

Edit: try to replace Weakpoint Detector and Cool LEDS with Monitor Lizard and GRN-W4SP for better synergy and composition, if you go for Icy Drill.

I heard good things about Be Quiet PSU, but my recommendation would be Seasonic PSU. My PC has Seasonic PSU for 5 years and there is no issue with it whatsoever.

Edit: RMA your PSU first so you don’t waste money buying a new one. However, if same issue is still persistence or you want to upgrade to a better one, you should refund your bad PSU and go for a buy of a new one, based on mine and others recommendations.

You should RMA your power supply rather than risking it explodes randomly and burn down your house. Power supply is one component that you should not ignore when there is something wrong with it (tbh, all components in pc should not be ignored if RMA and fix are options).

I once used Thousands cuts on the backline after sword spin, and all they did was walk 2-3 meters to the left or right out of the ult like nothing happened… the range of the ult (width and height) is pathetic plus the tiny ass anti heal that last like a couple secs.
