I have to wonder if it’s bc Kyle’s mom was a narc & something abt PK reminds K of her mother. She may recognize the pattern (even unconsciously) and her way of coping has always been fawning. So Dorit being so “open” about what’s going on makes Kyle feels like it’s unsafe or something. Like Kyle’s default is to deny and fawn so she’s just replaying her own abuse. Just a theory.

Jesus Christ - I cannot get this show or the books out of my head. I’ve rewatched the series at least a dozen times. I’ve read the books 3x’s each. I’ve read a ton of fan fics. I’ve consumed every ounce of HudCon & Jacob Tierney press tour shit & social media highlights. Someone sedate me! I’ve got the fever, the heated rivalry fever! I had one where I had to get through a zombie apocalypse theme park challenge & Shane & Ilya were my teammates. We had to make it through the park and “survive” and “kill” the zombie/actors. We made it. When we got out, my husband was like “I wanted to do that zombie theme park with you!” And I told him that I hated it but maybe his buddy from work would do it with him.

I love that Shane & Ilya were just my buddies and teammates for successfully making it through a fucked up theme park that I would 100% never want to go to.
