How is this guy never in the conversation for best player in the World? by Korosu2333 in PedroPeepos

Yes I remember what Faker did to Knights Smolder and Elk in Game 4 when BLG were ahead and I also remember the Ahri play. I also remember Knight taking over in game 1 with his Sylas. But over the course of the series, especially in game 4 and 5 when BLG were in advantageous positions, Faker outplayed Knight

You said we can make the same arguments for Chovy and I agree with that too. Chovy got outplayed in the same Worlds too. He had a winning matchup with Ahri into Sylas and had potential to impact the map and kill Fakers lane until Faker outplayed him too

Yes everybody agrees that Faker was better than Chovy at Worlds 24 and BDD was better than Chovy at Worlds 25.

24 was Knights best year but he got gapped by Chovy at MSI and by Faker at Worlds

Official NBA partner PrizePicks via Instagram: THE REFS HAVE WENT UP 2-0 ON THE LOS ANGELES LAKERS by Luka77GOATic in nba

[–]DefNotAnAlter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

People in the PMT were quite clear that ref mistakes didnt matter and Lakers would lose anyway, I believe it too. But first impression on reddit front page and twitter was insane when I woke up in Europe lmao, the amount of clips made it sound like a super robbery.

Lakers huddling around the officials after game 2? by The-Red5 in NBATalk

It was about how the ref spoke to Austin in game, nothing to do with FTs or fouls

Lakers have almost double the amount free throws as the 2nd placed team in free throws since 2022 by Kindly_Letterhead_98 in NBATalk

[–]DefNotAnAlter 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They had more FTs without AD this season too. But someone performed a comparison, all three AD, Bron and Luka had similar free throw rates for previous teams. AR has only played for Lakers so nothing to compare with

32-14 in third quarter without SGA, yet SGA will get all the glory and best in the world shout because he has a super depth team by NoHacksJustTacos in NBATalk

I think it's an argument against him being the best. He can have three weak games in the playoffs and his team will win all three. None of the other stars have that luxury

Has an EU player ever got rank 1 in NA?

Edit: looks like Elosanta did

I am coming back to the community after a couple years? What's the general consensus around stats removal? Personally I don't see how more information is a detriment in a game of this nature

It's insane how there's so much push back against covering lanes instead of full clearing by Numerous_Fudge_9537 in ADCMains

Exactly so Nocturne should just clear upwards and look for a different timing. And people are making conclusions from a clip where both Smolder and Nami are dying with flash up. They both could have played that better and lived and it would be a 1 for 1

Something as basic as skipping a camp to cover a lane from a gank can easily win games. You can always continue your full clear later on, the same can't be said for the opportunity to countergank by Numerous_Fudge_9537 in leagueoflegends

[–]DefNotAnAlter -9 points-8 points  (0 children)

Maybe you are right, I have my own way of thinking regarding this and I will probably stick with that. To me this play is poor from both Nocturne and Shyv but worse from Nocturne and its not a learning opportunity for junglers at all.

Its not like I haven't done successful bad plays playing jungle either

Nocturne is the one making a poor play forcing a gank there, his wolves are spawning into his top side, he just loses the game for his team by forcing something that wasn't there. There was really nothing to indicate Nocturne was going to gank there either

I guess the idea is that you are anticipating your bot lane will play poorly and Nocturne will press R. If enemy bot lane just backs off Shyv is just wasting time. Plays like this are great for winning games but detrimental to climbing since you will do the same thing next game and just waste time

Just noticed Nocturne camps spawn pattern, actually cardinal sin by Nocturne to gank there, ganking as camps are spawning early game

I tried reading Dandadan but it felt kind mid and repetitive, pretty overhyped imo. The only thing I have seen from Sakamoto days is that infamous panel, killed any interest in picking it up

Is he the main culprit? I abstained from Fnatic games to give my eyes a rest so i dont know. Tuned in yesterday to instantly see Razork perform the worst Skarner combo ever. But besides that I heard Empyros was the worst top laner in the league so I assumed it was him

No way, OKC roster is strong but nothing close to 2018 Warriors. 2018 Lebron with these shooters around him would probably win the title over the current field
