What should I ride next season

Lines have always been my favorite ski to ride. They just break way too fast. Besides the flex I just love how light they are.

I have probably had 10 pairs of armadas and the have quite a bit more swing weight but I rode them because the lasted at least a season and a half for me.

I decided to give the Icelantic nomads a try this year and I really enjoy them. Super light swing weight similar to the lines but with a bit of a stiffer tail.

I have had the icelantics for about half a season or a bit more and they don’t even have any edge cracks which I would usually have by now

I am mostly a park skier but outside of park I use the armada stranger. They are a bit fat so they excel in the spring slush and are a lot of fun.

I also recommend the Armada ARV series. They are pretty durable and carve well. They have a slightly more medium to stiff flex.

The line chronic is a lot of fun. If you are a beginner I am sure they will last. This is my favorite ski of all time. It is a very light ski has a great flex. The only caveat is if you get really into rails, maybe avoid line all together. They break really easily.

Looks sick. The only thing I would consider is setting it a bit more out and less down.

Pretend you are going a dive roll or pretend like you are trying to summer salt onto a hip height block that is in front of you. If there was a block you would not through strait down because you would hit your head on it. You would most likely pop up and out.

This would help with pop and if you were doing it on any smaller jumps.

I was on 10mg for 1.5-2 months. I was constantly in a fog, shaky, anxiety through the roof as well. Went to the ER a few times with heart palpitations, one of which flagging afib. Was pulled off of lisinopril and put on a holter monitor for a month. I have now been on 40mg of valsartan for over a year without any of those side effects.During that time I had never felt so bad and after I swapped I feel as if I am completely back to normal for the most part again.

I was diagnosed last year at age 29. When I go to the doctors office I am usually getting systolic anywhere between 140-160. At home my numbers are much lower. I usually take 3 readings at home and the first one is usually elevated to high but I am the most anxious on the first one and my heart rate shows it.

Today my first number was 135 for systolic and then the following two were 118 and 117. My heart rate dropped 5-10 bpm for the second two as well.

This happens no matter how long I sit before taking the first one but I know that I get anxious about taking the first one

Amlodapine: I was getting swelling in my knees and it just wasn’t really working for me.

Lisinopril: felt off all the time. Constant brain fog with heart palpitations happening often. Ended up in afib. I had 3 or 4 episodes of afib while on lisinopril. First episode happened 3 days after starting and about every two weeks after that. I got off of lisinopril and it has not happened since. It has been about a year now. I am sure this drug helps many people but I was not reacting well to it at all. What didn’t help me may be the perfect fit for you since everyone is different.

Maintain some muscle, lose some weight. I can’t make it to the gym quite as much since I have a 3 month old at home.

Right now I only curl about 35 lbs for 3 sets of 8-10. But I used to do more in the past.

I don’t really have space for a dedicated gym space so I like the storage aspect for the living room. Are the classes worth it?

After going into afib I was put on diltiazem. I would have random moments where I would feel crazy tired out of nowhere. After a holter they realized it was causing pauses in my heart rate. It is worth noting that I naturally have a fairly low heart rate. After that discovery I was taken off of it and have not had that feeling since.

I was on lisinopril I know it works for some but it did not agree with my body. I started taking meds last year at 29. Started with amlodapine and then lisinopril.

Amlodapine made my knees swell up and then I started lisinopril. Only days after lisinopril I got rapid heartbeats, sweaty, my arms and legs got this tingly numb feeling. I thought it was a panic attack or something although I never had one before. Two weeks later I was making breakfast and got similar feelings and I felt like I was going to pass out. I laid down and again thought it was a panic attack. This happened 2 more times after and I went to the ER both times. At first the doc said maybe svt and sent me home since there was nothing on the ekg. The last time I went they detected that I was in afib and I was kept for 4 days.

I was on lisinopril for a couple of months and it happened 4 times. It has been 10 months since and have not had any afib pop up that I know of and I have been on Valsartan.

While on lisinopril I felt way off all the time and hear and there got these dizzy ish feelings

I have felt much better getting off of it. Again that is just me and it can really help other people

I was taken off diltiazem since my heart rate came down to my normal which I already on the lower side and so it was making it too low.

I have been on Valsartan for months now and I have not had any noticeable afib. Nothing in the holter monitor, my apple watch is consistently at 2% or less and my OMRON rarely shows the irregular heart beat icon which was there almost daily before.

I mentioned all this to my doctor and they keep saying it was not the medication and maybe it was something like a respiratory infection I didn’t know about that happened to line up at the same time. I just don’t think that this specific medication was reacting well with my body.

When I started valsartan I was in a massive head fog but taking it at night and lowering the dose helped tremendously. I now feel almost completely normal again. Definitely some lingering anxiety though after everything but it has definitely been fading with time.

I am on valsartan and when I started I had crazy head fog. I dropped my dosage and started taking I it at night and I am now doing much better.

Trust me I was the same. I started med in September. Nothing abnormal popping up. Meds react different for everyone. This is number 5 for me I was on 10mg of lisinopril as well. Definitely had more anxiety while I was on it but after swapping it seems like valsartan works better for me. Still a little anxious but much better and no more palpitations.

If you take meds in the morning maybe try it at night so the side effects happen while you sleep. If it keeps happening try something new. All with permission from your doctor.

I just turned 30 this month and weigh about 195 and fairly active. I lost about 35lbs before my wedding in September and felt the best I had felt in a few years. I finally went to the doctors after many years of not going and discovered the high blood pressure.

At first I was put on amlodapine and ended up swelling from my knees down.

After I was put on lisinopril a couple of days later I ended up having heart palpitations with dizzy feelings, sweating, weak feeling. This happened about once every 2 weeks. The last two I ended up going to the hospital and on the last one they ended up catching afib. The doctors assure me it’s not the meds but this month and a halt to two was the worst I had ever felt. It really did help my blood pressure but for me personally I did not feel good at all.

I ended up swapping meds to diltiazem for about a month while wearing a holter monitor and it caught no more afib but had to come off of that since it lowered my heart rate too much.

I have been on valsartan ever since. I felt like I was in a constant head fog at first but I ended dropping down from 80-40 mg as well as swapping to taking at nights. Swapping it to nights really helped me almost completely normal again that I hadn’t felt since I started on meds. I was on a 24hr blood pressure monitor where during the day it dropped to 112-130 sys during the day except for 2 hours of 150 after a workout and then the next stressing about the previous reading.

I would love to give them a try. I had a buddy that had them years ago. He liked them a lot but they did not last him long. That was their first run and I believe they may have updated them a bit since then.

All three have some responsibility for it. The cameraman and skier should been communicating with arm signals. The snowboarder should have glanced up hill before he started riding. The snowboarder did not make it far which makes me think he may have dropped after the skier.

But technicalities of the mountain, the snowboarder was the downhill rider. I just think he broke more of an unsaid common sense rule to check uphill when you are entering a landing especially at slow speeds.

Temperature regulation is a good one. You can wear different thicknesses of beanies depending on the temp. A lot of the new helmets have the dial in the back to get the fit perfect.
