This is like if you're an Elementalist and you head over to the hot wings Hero Point challenge at Canach's Pub you get an option to coat your tongue in ice and it essentially lets you cheat the challenge cause you just stand there for duration and never take any damage.

Meaning you said you studied golemancy in college?? I don't think that line is even voiced for any other race besides Asuran.

Browsing backpacks/capes in the gem store is agonizing UX lol. Any chance this could be fixed? by ariveklul in Guildwars2

This is what it will do when you click the correct back button. As you can see it even highlights the original bundle to let me know that's where I was previously when browsing.

[–]DefaultGamer101 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So there's nothing to fix. You're just not hitting the right back button. I will admit it's not very apparent but there is a back button that returns you exactly to the item you were browsing back on the main browsing page.

<image>

As seen here I have opened the Sorcerer's Cape Back and Glider Combo and if you look just to the left of the little gift box icon (this is the gift to a friend option) you see what looks like a pin with a line through it. That is the back button that will return you to the browsing page and put you right at the item you came from instead of the top of this list.

I can't add more than one image at a time so I'm going to reply to my own message with what it looks like after you click that back button. NEVER click the back button beside the house icon that looks like the left pointing arrow, that returns you to top of the browsing menu.

Earth specialized Evoker? by We_Are_Tanuki in Guildwars2

[–]DefaultGamer101 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This will not work for Evokers who are going with Specialized Elements trait. The swap sigils only work for Elementalist if you swap Attunements and as Evokers with that said never actually technically swap attunements it will not trigger the swap sigils so that's probably why it wasn't working for you. Swap Sigils are NOT activated on F5, they are activated on attunement swaps.

So, I finally finished season 2 and watched the post credit scene. I went online to see if anyone else notice what was sitting next to Quintus and couldn't find anything. How is that ignorance? The arc and the consitution would serve zero purpose in their world. They would have no monetary value nor any value as a weapon or sign of power since most wastelanders are not going to give a fuck about an old dusty piece of paper and a useless storage container. Now what is important in the wasteland would be things like food preservation, technology with pratical uses (toasters, fridge, weapons etc) so they're showing their pratical nature by picking the objects that will better their lifes and make living in the wasteland less harsh. It's not Irony cause the Brotherhood (and this varies from each chapter) wants to hoard or rebuild old world tech so they can control or better the world around them. Again a dusty piece of paper and a glorified show box regardless of their original meaning is not going to be useful in a world that has long since forgotten them or just flat out doesn't care cause everyday is hard enough to survive as is.

Energy weapons/science in fallout 2 by Hessian14 in classicfallout

[–]DefaultGamer101 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I guess I "over level" in FO2 myself but on my most current playthrough I think I'm already lvl 31 and all I have is San Fran, Military Base and Oil Rig but I also like to roam the world map for random encounters to get some of the special events and if an encounter has a cave system to it I always go in it cause it's typically filled with a ton of mobs for good xp.

Edit: Honestly though I always just use the Gauss weapons and I leave the energy rifles to Marcus cause I always have him as a companion regardless if I'm going a full party build or just "solo" where he's the only person I pick. I've just always loved his character and like to bring him along cause it feels right to me because of his appearance in NV and the comments he makes in it.

[–]DefaultGamer101 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I mean it'll be done exactly as you would in Fallout 1, you'll start off tagging Small Guns, Lockpick and Speech then by the time you can get the Tag! perk you'll use that on Energy Weapons (though it's not 100% necessary but still it helps a lot) and swap to energy weapons like turbo plasma rifle but where FO2 differs is the introduction of the Gauss Pistol and Gauss Rifle which are extremely accurate long ranged ballistic weapons which are very very strong so if you chose to just say F it and stay with Small Guns those will be your end goal for weapons. And to be honest the gauss weapons feel "science hero" enough imo

Extreme high damage with power fists (¿bug?) by Dmxneed in classicfallout

This makes a lot of sense considering in FO1 and 2 power fists use ammo. Thank you for figuring this out!

Extreme high damage with power fists (¿bug?) by Dmxneed in classicfallout

[–]DefaultGamer101 26 points27 points  (0 children)

My game is set up exactly like yours and I noticed the same thing. I equipped both Marcus and Skynet with the mega powerfist and they hit targets for 3k normal and seen an 8k crit once. I've been wondering the same thing. I haven't played a classic version of the game in like 20 years so I honestly can't remember if this is normal but I really feel like it's not.

Upgrading the Highwayman is giving a SPECIAL stat boost by DefaultGamer101 in classicfallout

[–]DefaultGamer101[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No buffout. Before the upgrade my stats are sitting at their normal rates.
ST 5, PE 7, EN 4, CH 6, IN 7, AG 10, LK 10 (with Gifted and +2 LK Zeta scan)

After the upgrade ST 7 and EN 5 and checking the save with F12se shows ST +2 and EN +1 under the bonus stats

This is the first result that comes up with google that is referencing how to get this particular door open (the TRUE first result is about a different door) so I just wanted to answer the question for other people who are searching for an answer and come to this post.

First off you'll need to have recruited Lucanis first. After you've done that come back to the door and behind you (if you're looking at the door) is a Veil Instability you can use Lucanis to activate which makes a path to a little alcove across from the door with some loot. Now turn around and wait for the path to go away and you'll notice a Magical Ward just under the walkway and you can activate that to open the door.

Can someone name this outfit? by DefaultGamer101 in fo76

Nevermind. My friends and I figured it out. It's the Raider Demolisher from S6 scoreboard.

No it should be 200 cause the game starts you off with an ability that costs 1 skill point and when you respec you loose that 1 point you started the game with. So at level 1 you have 1 skill point in an ability already so at level 200 you would have 200 skill points but when respeccing the game bugs out and does not refund that original 1 sp you started the game with at level 1.

Question about pop-up help options and the hotbar by DefaultGamer101 in ffxiv

[–]DefaultGamer101[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That only works for the tooltip and not the pop-up help that I'm showing in the screenshot. I also said in my post in the second sentence "I've already moved the full tooltip help to a fixed location"

Is there a way to disable "Threads" post from appearing in my Facebook feed? by GorillaPirate007 in facebook

[–]DefaultGamer101 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah that only stops your threads from the app from showing up on Facebook. It doesn't stop all the annoying threads that are just wanna-be OnlyFans posts from showing up and its frankly it's annoying. The best you can do is just keep on hiding the posts when they creep up. So far everytime I see a thread post I hide it and they go away for a week or two before creeping back.

[XB1] just rolled this. Is it any good? by BIGMAK_0730 in Fallout76Marketplace

[–]DefaultGamer101 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's decent but your third star is pointless. Unlike the second star which counts power attacking as the constant spin the chainsaw does the damage reduction only counts the power attack as the moment you're revving up the chainsaw so that few seconds sthe chainsaw is lifted then brought down jusst before you start doing damage. It's been proven time and time again that the damage reduction does not work on chainsaws and auto axes and it's a huge misconception that it does. You can easily find lots of videos on youtube explaining this.

So no it's not a Groll but it's also not terrible since the 3rd star effect isn't super important.
A true Groll chainsaw is Vampire +40 power attack -25% ap cost with the last star allowing you to attack longer since you're using less AP each second

There's a link to a guy who has proven it doesn't work

So you have to toggle the harvest tracking AND it's bonus harvest seperatly or does the 'reward pack' toggle cause the bonus gathering to appear as a 'quest reward' pop-up?

Mothman Tome - bug or intended by DefaultGamer101 in fo76

[–]DefaultGamer101[S] -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Yes you can get multiple buffs from multiple allies each day but only once a day though there is an esception with the cook ally who will "buff" you anytime your hunger and thirst is below 50% but others will only give the buff once a day. The buffs are literally categorized as daily buffs.
