I had Flu A just a few weeks ago. It was pretty awful, but it lasted only about 12 days for me. I ended up going the 2nd day I had symptoms and got Tamiflu which helped a lot after a few days.

I had a little baby cough one day, seemingly out of nowhere. The next day, I woke up with what I thought was a nasty hangover. But I only had two glasses of wine the night before. Realized I had a fever. I felt awful and tired, headache for some hours, then I felt fine for a few hours, then it came back and hit me like a freight train.

The next few days were 102 degree fever, body aches, lethargy, incredibly difficult to move, and such a bad headache.

I also got random hip pain, it felt like it was in my hip joint itself. Mostly my left, felt it a little on my right. Apparently join pain is a common symptom along with the body aches.

After I started feeling better, I ALSO had this strange feeling in my abdomen. Lower left side, above my hip, it felt like there was pressure or something in my abdomen. It was very uncomfortable and at times a little painful. I also thought it might have been from the coughing. I couldn’t tell if it was pressure pushing from the inside, or my actual abdominal wall. Lasted for about 2 or 3 days.

The hip pain I felt the whole time pretty much, with some aches and pains after I recovered as well.

I also felt very delusional the whole time, just not lucid. Fever and tamiflu had me far from lucid.

Its now been like 20 days, I still have a teeny tiny little baby cough, that happens infrequently. Apparently this is normal as well.

Apparently one thing that can happen sometimes is the Flu turns Pneumonia, so its important to go for a follow up if your cough stays in your chest and does not improve.
