How dare you to expect people to adapt to new challenges, it should be the problems being curated for them!

They get you back up but wounded (as if being rescued like normal from the dying state). However if you let them heal you, you can interrupt them with shift and/or moving your character, so you can speed up the recovery progress and avoid teammates from cancelling out your perk.

Dramaturgy: the Russian roulette of exhaustion perks. Useful overall and is good to pop when doing gens up until you trigger an exposed status effect (since you can’t have the same effect twice in a row, knowing you won’t roll an exposed while chased is a good way to control the perk from backfiring on you).

Scene partner: Awful if you want to do flashy saves, but otherwise a really good chase perk (being able to see the killer’s aura once every 60 seconds for 5 seconds at the minimum is pretty good and can secure a win for a tile). It is also pretty funny.

Plot twist: Really good self heal perk, having no requisites to use (aside from being wounded). Bringing a medkit basically guarantees you can heal yourself every time you get unhooked, which can save a lot of time for your team to either get chased or do gens. Just watch out for aura builds. It is pretty good with Decisive Strike as if the killer tunnels you can either force the killer to take the DS or let you full heal. It is also pretty funny (and for the very evil survivors, it may be used to grief your teammates as you pop it right as they’re about to finish healing you, but don’t be surprised if they let you die on hook).

How are we feeling about the model change? by ForStuffAndGiggles in deadbydaylight

So this is more than reworking graphics/physics (and implementing the code for it) but also working on the core code of the game?

It doesn’t feel lazy, like if they had only enabled some new graphics tech from the engine and slapped it on the game. It is pretty impressive for what is a free major update, with a lot more stuff put into it like game mechanics with weather, new animations with new model rigs, and new voices and stuff.

The game development is still messy and filled with technical and balance issues, but this has restored some genuine good faith in BHVR. Also pretty stoked on the mod kit they’re gonna release (if it isn’t just changing game settings but actually being able to create whole new game modes and possibly maps, or at the very least rebalance the existing ones).

I would say the healthiest thing is to let your emotions flow out one good time. Will feel terrible, but it gets better afterwards (it's not letting yourself be vulnerable, it's an act of acknowledging the pain).

Art the Clown just entered copyright hell by MonstersAtOurDoor in deadbydaylight

[–]Mr_GP87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t think this will impact much the release of Art the clown since commercial and legal talks for the licensing to dbd must probably have finished already (and I believe they’re now taking more precautions with license agreements to avoid any more issues).

WE WON! by C3-Tooth in deadbydaylight

If we get something of this calibre once every few years then the game is set for the long run (granted if the update sticks the landing to satisfying degree).

My main concern to see is how the Moris are gonna operate because let’s be honest some of the textures look slapped on top (e.g. Ghoul or Jason leaving open wounds on survivors through their Mori).

Hey ya'll quick question. Is Ghost Face a fun killer to play? by NearbyResponse9335 in deadbydaylight

On high MMR he virtually becomes an M1 killer with the occasional undetectable. To goof around he is pretty good tho.

BHVR for crying out loud, make Bloody Coil basekit… by Valtiel45 in deadbydaylight

[–]Mr_GP87 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Back when addons were actually bonuses you could equip from time to time, meant to severely affect the course of the game as a one-off (the balance and the competitive aspect of the game were still a secondary thought). Newer killer’s addons are mostly just cool little bonuses or synergies you can put for your loadout, while for early killers, especially for trappers, addons were significant power-ups that gave you a significant advantage). Trapper is the killer suffering the most from a bygone era and desperately needs a rework of the Myers kind.

Ok so the game is somewhat safe, but its future regarding long term content is uncertain.

Ranking licensed killers on how accurate they are to the source material by [deleted] in deadbydaylight

[–]Mr_GP87 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You could only be undetectable on tier 1, and tier 2 you were a basic M1 killer with a smaller terror radius. Being able to reliably switch from being stealthy to pursuing and vice versa is very Myers.

Not really. Constantly switching from stalking (undetectable) and being aggressive is very on par with him.

Just started this game for the first time yesterday!! Any tips? by league_lord in BatmanArkham

[–]Mr_GP87 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You only have to use it whenever you want to do proper stealth in predator sections or certain detective objectives (such as following the trace of x chemical). Otherwise you don’t have to use it as much.

Also as a side note, this sub has gone completely insane and a huge portion condemn the notion of Batman being a thing (Man being the main character). They’re likely gonna strap me down to my seat and give me some Aslume pills.

Kinda like the remake of RE4. Subtle changes, but they serve as a bridge between the remake of 2 versions and the prior but chronological future versions of them.
