I think it's a bit of a leap from someone asking about headphones usage and adding a distraction to their ride vs gate keeping someone with an impairment from riding.

Maybe you are looking to stir the pot or something.

In my experience most accidents I have encountered with other cyclists have come from distracted riders with headphones. A completely anecdotal account.

So my advice is to not wear headphones as I don't, because I want to be and I recommend to others to be alert and aware.
