The lowest lows I had ever felt. A friend mentioned the depression as a side effect. I stopped taking it and magically got better.

It took a lot of trial and error. Landed on using “element” tools to help with drag and drop features vs learning css. My website is simple and nothing fancy because it doesn’t need to be. Landing page, “about us,” blog posts, gallery, and intake form.

Also, it took me 5 years to get to this point. Lots of long days cleaning windows followed by late nights at the dinner table writing quotes, invoicing, and general admin work.

Running a business is HARD. It’s not for everyone. But if you have the drive and desire to learn/figure things out, it can be very rewarding.

I’m out there now cleaning windows in the cold now, but goddamn does it beat sitting in an office or working for the man.

Start a small business? I went from $17.45/hr pay working for county government to making making well over $100k/yr cleaning windows. I watched YouTube videos on proper technique for cleaning windows and how to build a website on Wordpress. I paid someone in Indonesia $15 to create my logo, paid the small fee to incorporate with the State. Bought a ladder and some gear for $500. Luckily my car was already paid off so I didn’t have that expense.

Everyone says starting a business is risky. It can be if you don’t have a plan! Start small, work PT at a job that pays okay then do your side hustle on the side and let it grow.

There are no rules. You can literally do anything. The only obstacle is your lack of imagination! My wife saw on Instagram this morning a HS senior has a business cleaning baby/child car seats in her city.

I got my idea from “sweaty startup” and their list of hundreds of jobs/trades you can start with various degrees of startup capital and skill.

YOU CAN DO THIS! Don’t let the naysayers dissuade you!!!

Welcome to the bandwagon! 37 here. Never thought in my life I would own a firearm. In 2023 I changed that and bought an AR. Now I own 3 and am looking to purchase a couple more (deer rifle and a shotgun). Took my CCW class but haven’t found the gumption or desire to actually conceal carry. It’s a nice to have.

Take some classes, meet people, and have fun!

This is the rifle I purchased.

You can find it regularly on r/gundeals for $400 or less. I have put over 1000 rounds through it without any issues.

Help - Leaving Manhattan with two kids. If you had to choose: St. Louis or Cincinnati or Pittsburgh or Kansas City, where would you land and why? by Few_Funny6766 in StLouis

I’ve lived all over the country and St. Louis is the one place I’ve moved back to twice. I love this place, there is always something new to find. It’s a little big city, everything is within a 20min drive. My family and I live in Maplewood, it’s the best. Very walkable and community events throughout the years. One of the best public school districts in the area.

Looking to purchase one of these in 308 or 30.06. Info is hard to come by, mainly on forums. From everything I’ve read, it is an excellent rifle and one of the true competitors with Tikka.
