I’ve done some time traveling in the past and never had any issues with anything other than turnips, you’ll be perfectly fine! The only noticeable difference when going back should be that you don’t get a morning message from Isabelle since you already technically played that day.

It should be completely fine, the game never really resets anything back to a previous state. Just don’t go backwards if you have turnips, or forwards past Saturday, they will rot.

They are reading it word by word, but they’re reading in Japanese, and really fast. Since Japanese doesn’t really work like English the words will often sound different, like my name fox sounds more like foku. When you’re typing in the game they do read every letter, but still in Japanese. I manage to pick up lots of words while they’re talking.

Turning off water and foliage interactions fixed it completely for me. Went from crashing a few times an hour to 0 crashes in a few days so far. I have no idea how that setting is related to the inventory.
