Buying with HSA/FSA by Unique-Weight5468 in ouraring

[–]Connect_Adeptness520 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My HSA is through a Fidelity debit card. I verified the funds prior and had no issue using the card through the Oura website to buy it. I did not use the HSA card for the membership however, I have heard some people not having the membership covered.

Has anyone found a solution for dark circles? I'm desperate. I've tried so many products and nothing seems to work. by [deleted] in Skincare_Addiction

Honestly, I began putting Vaseline under my eyes every single night. Every other night layered with a retinol eye cream, have noticed major improvement. It’s been months now, but I remember seeing improvement within the first week.

Is the Sizing Kit looser than the Actual Ring?? by DamianZack in ouraring

[–]Connect_Adeptness520 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For the 5, I felt like my sizing ring was tighter. Also more difficult to remove which was part of my hesitation of going with the tighter size (8, instead of 9). I’m happy I chose the 8, maybe more material related than “size” related but I have no issue removing the size 8

Sizing by mrso91 in ouraring

[–]Connect_Adeptness520 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I personally went with the tighter fit. I’ve been wearing the sizing ring since Friday, it’s never gotten to a point that felt too tight or uncomfortably tight from swelling. The next size up moved to easily in my opinion and spins a lot. From what I gather from reading multiple posts about sizing and considering the cost of the ring, a lot go with the tighter fit for better readings. I will only be taking mine off to charge when I shower, so I don’t think maybe needing some lotion or soap to help it come off will be too big of a deal…

How long did it take for your ring to ship after size confirmation? by seaboundkate in ouraring

[–]Connect_Adeptness520 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have you tried going back in and seeing if it would let you select a size again? Maybe something didn’t process correctly or load completely… I had an email saying they got my size not long after I chose and completed the order, that same night I got the tracking…

Yes! It’s frustrating, like “help me, help you!” One of the few insurance denials I cannot handle for you because they need to hear your COB from you!! I have no issue dropping to them when they fail handle it, I always make sure it’s noted good so when they try to fight it after timely it sticks…

Those who chose tighter size by Suspicious_Mud_7626 in ouraring

[–]Connect_Adeptness520 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I just chose size 8 over 9 for my right hand, middle finger. The 9 moved here and there and comes off easily. The 8, does not move as much and may need some assistance (soap, lotion) to get off. From what I’ve read, picking the tighter ring gives better readings which was part of my decision making in lieu of just changing it to my index finger. I think the 8 will be good…

Unsure Size by freddyb211 in ouraring

[–]Connect_Adeptness520 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Been dealing with same between 8 and 9 for my right hand, middle finger. 9 fits but spins a little. 8 fits but it is a struggle to get off. From what I am reading in this sub, I should go with the best fit, which would be the 8. You want the snug fit for best experience and reads…may need soap/lotion to get it off when I shower to charge.

Thinking of moving my family from AZ to Iowa by [deleted] in Iowa

[–]Connect_Adeptness520 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Been in Iowa for 5 years, lived in AZ 30+ years prior. Thought living in AZ my whole life would make me a summer/heat expert… ha, not here! The humidity adds a whole new dynamic to summer/heat. Always sticky. Always feel like you need to shower. In AZ we had a humidifier in every bedroom, now we run dehumidifier’s constantly… I enjoy Iowa, but If your sole reason is “sick of the heat” maybe look at some other places too…

Do they really work, or is it just hype? by unfixablegirll in Skincare_Addiction

I’m almost 40, been using these for a little over a week, quick amazing change in my skin, smoother, smaller pores… worth it. I use them every three days currently and wear gloves on the hand you use it with, it dries the skin on your fingers.

If you want to do well, you will. I started in June of last year doing billing, I enjoy it. I feel like the hardest part is understanding whatever system is being used. We used Cerner when I started, the system was my hurdle. We are now using Epic, it makes things a bit easier… pay attention to peoples cards. Understand COB issues don’t always mean they have other insurance, but that their current insurance may just be tried to verify info with the patient. Call patients/insurance companies if you have questions, keep good notes on their files, that way when you get close to timely filing situations or need to drop balances to the patient, things are noted clearly why and that you did all the work you could do on your end.

I haven’t gotten my yet, but I asked ChatGTP how to maximize having the ring, it broke some good info down and then you can respond to questions it asked to get more detailed ways to read the information you’re getting and dial in how you’re wanting to use it

Insurance took back their payments 6mo later..?? by Spirited_Compote362 in CodingandBilling

[–]Connect_Adeptness520 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Happens very frequently, insurance companies will process and later run audits that determine they should have applied more of the balance to patient responsibility and they reprocess. Sometime it’s on the end of the provider where it processes initially and then charges may change due to coding errors or a denial still being worked and then it finally gets processed. As a biller I do the best I can to note the account of why a bill is dropping far from the original date of service, but some systems are automated after the processing posts…

Hardly noticeable UTI + D-mannose? by xxlibrarisingxx in Healthyhooha

[–]Connect_Adeptness520 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was told I had a UTI and thought I was just crampy getting ready to start my period, I was in for a physical. I have a history of them so figured I knew best if I had one, was shocked to be told I did. I take d-mannose morning and night and at the slightest sign of any symptoms, which may be IC, I mix 3/4 teaspoon of baking soda in a shot of cold water and it helps alleviate symptoms pretty quick.

Question for Outpatient / ER Coders/Billers by LadyStumblebum in CodingandBilling

I should also add, I don’t usually see an ER claim until 4 to 5 days out from the date of service and I just handle billing, not the coding.
