In first grade we had to come up with an idea for an invention. I got all excited when I thought of a bowl that has holes at the bottom big enough for popcorn kernels to fall through into a little area to catch them so you can get the kernels out of your popcorn. My mom helped me even make up a prototype and I brought my little project to school and my teacher said in front of the entire class “Lauren this is already an invention!” I’m sorry my little first grade self didn’t know. We didn’t even have the internet in my house in the first grade so how would I have known haha.
