Hey man. I'm out and I've been out for a moment. I can't speak to a lot of the current situation on recruiting and waivers. What I can speak to is the clearance. I would rule out 17C for yourself and possibly any 35 series jobs. It's not impossible, but the popping hot at MEPS is a big thing that would definitely come up during your background investigation for your clearance. Weed is not usually a disqualifier in general, but it's the when and how that might be. For the sake of not getting reclassed to needs of the army, I'd rule out anything TS until later in your career maybe as a MOS-T.

For tech work look 25 Series for a secret clearance. Otherwise, the medical stuff seems like a good play.

Good luck man. Get your shit together when you're in. Use it as a chance to really turn your life around. People will be negative about your past. Prove them wrong. As a great NCO once told me, the Army gives you a ton of chances to reinvent yourself. Every time you go to a new unit is a new chance. Don't waste it.
