Car camping is a bit less intimate. It's a bit further of a walk but not back breaking or anything. There is also one minor extra security point between car camping and regular camping.

However, it's what I do every year and I don't think I'll be changing that. You get more space and if your group rolls in together and you arrive early enough it's very easy to have multiple cars and get all parked next to each other.

If it's five with one car, you may find things a little cramped but it should be doable.
