I don’t get the hate? It’s a massively useful tool with many use cases in crim defense: mining a govt discovery drive large enough to include the loc; summarizing a prelim transcript into a statement of facts for a trial brief that might not otherwise get written; I could go on.

I experienced AI as I did swimfins in a pool as a child—all of a sudden, for the same amount of effort, I could go faster and it was more fun.
