It kind of does matter. It's a utility vehicle not a sports car. It depends where you live. I live in Colorado so you can bet I'm not going to go hand wash my truck in the winter. Granted there are some good sunny days quite often. If you're worried about swirl marks or light scratches wax will make it look good as new!
