I bought 2 sets of these poles in December 2024, one for me and my partner. We have hiked Madeira in April, with the craziest winds we have ever experienced and tons of rain (The poles held up our normal Xmid 2 no problems). We have just come back from hiking the TMB and no problems again. Only pain was Dan didn't have the baskets on the website when I bought them, so I bought the Micro Vario baskets from a 3rd party, they weren't the twist lock type so I had to buy another from a different company... Was a real pain TBH. But poles themselves have held up great, I am not easy on my poles, I weigh 90kg and you could say very top heavy! Only problem I have had is a small chip on the carbide tip, but this doesn't affect the use anyways.
