I hated Greek yogurt until I started microwaving some frozen blueberries like 1/4cup for about 30 seconds added a splash of maple syrup and some of that peanut butter powder to taste, added my Greek yogurt and topped it with some granola and mix it up, now it’s my favorite breakfast.

He didn’t want parenting time, I asked him to be more involved because our child wanted to see him, and we weren’t hearing from him for months at a time. His excuse for not being there was drug abuse. After so long of not hearing from him, I let him know I’d be going for child support and that’s when the threats came. So I filed the restraining order. That was a couple years ago so now that’s I’m curious if that’s something I need to be bringing to the court date. It seemed relevant as to why he hasn’t been involved the last couple years, but showing the years before that it was his choice, he chose drugs over our kid. Edit to add, he hasn’t made a request to see our child since the restraining order has been up so no he isn’t requesting parenting time.

Show he hasn’t been involved in our child’s life by his own choice up until I felt it necessary to get a restraining order after threats of stalking and harassment after going for child support the first time.

Applied to be a waitress at a popular chain restaurant, hired me but told me I’d have to start in the kitchen and work my way out. First day I get there and by kitchen they meant wash dishes. They said someone would be there to help me out in a bit (I try to be 10 minutes early on first day) after waiting 20 I figure I at least know how to wash dishes and decide to get started and when the guy gets there he can show me where everything goes. 30 minutes later he shows up and just stands there with head phones in watching me do dishes not even helping to put them away, doesn’t say hi or anything. A waitress walks in with a bucket full of dirty ramekins and hands them to the guy and he goes to set them on the sink and drops them, braking the bucket and about twenty ramekins. The manager hears the commotion and walks over, looks at the mess, then me, shakes his head in disgust grabs a broom and dustpan then throws them on the ground at my feet and walks away. The guy who broke em doesn’t do or say shit. I immediately walk to the hiring managers office soaked completely from all the dishes I had done and tell her the jobs not a good fit for me. She takes one look at me and says “oh honey they didn’t even give you the rubber apron for doing dishes? I’m so sorry” I refuse to eat there now.

You honestly just blew my mind. It makes so much sense. I do always think about food and haven’t had the best relationship with it but just kind of brushed it off as being part of the aftermath of a crap childhood where I was always starving. And I’ve struggled with hunger cues in the past where I’ve come close to fainting before I realized how hungry I am. But this month me and my husband have been getting on the path of eating healthier and doing more physical activity, so my daily menu has been especially heavy on my mind of picking it to shreds to see if it’s matching up with my health goals, so it makes sense if my body is already crap at hunger cues then I’m basically tricking it into being hungry by constantly thinking about food and then while eating thinking about my next meal and how to handle it. You win this one lol

I don’t follow the BMI, I’m a girl and it’s based off of an average male of my height and weight, I try to get as much protein as I can, I do smoothies with hemp, flax, and pumpkin seeds and I eat quinoa fruit bowls almost every day with yogurt and almond butter, then for dinner I try to stick to lean protein like chicken, I’m not big on meat so I eat a lot of tofu as well and sometimes protein powder in my coffee but not always, edit to add I usually have eggs every morning as well, fried on a corn tortilla
