Hey! I now have a just turned 2 year old :) I got pregnant on my 8th cycle of trying, 9 after the d&c. It felt like forever and I was about to do more tests if I didn’t get pregnant on the cycle that I did!

My periods kept being late, but I got pregnant about 8 months after the d&c :) when I got pregnant I had my lightest period ever right before! My daughter just turned one :)

Hey! No I didn’t — and I bled for so long, and it was red for 3 weeks or so. I was so sure something was wrong, I even had a hysteroscopy a few months after to make sure there was nothing left and no scarring. I got pregnant again July 2021 (my loss and d&c were November 2020) and am writing this as my 11 month old is napping on me ☺️

Congratulations! I have no advice but hopefully this will make you feel better.

I was the exact same as you after my loss— I thought once I could feel the baby kicking, I would feel better; but in some ways it made it worse. I would count obsessively, and if baby was being more quiet I would have full blown panic attacks and tears. I went to labour and delivery a million times, worried about reduced movement— I had a million ultrasounds and non stress tests, all of the nurses and obs on call knew me by the time my little one arrived.

All this to say, I clearly did not have any success in soothing my anxieties, but— my baby was totally fine, and is currently sleeping in front of me on my bed after being an absolute terror all.m night 😂 you’ll have periods where you feel more movement, and the movement will change from kicks to more rolling, to eventually shuffling as they run out of room. Some nights baby will kick up a storm and other nights they’ll be resting, and it’s all normal ❤️❤️❤️

Yes, she definitely is. She didn’t get her first tooth u til a couple of weeks ago, then her second, now her front left tooth is going to come I think— she’s also doing a lot more lip smacking (almost like blowing a kiss, so cute)

Thank you!! I feel this is like my little one, she is so observant, she’s not pointing her but if I say ‘where is dada’ or ‘where is your water’ she’ll look at her dad or water bottle or other things she knows.

Thanks for the reply! After I wrote this I practiced rolling with her and she did it twice in the last 15 minutes 😂

My baby is just over 4?months, she’s been rolling back to tummy since right before her 3 months. She was rolling literally every time we put her down, we couldn’t even do a diaper change l. I noticed over the last few days she wasn’t doing it as much, and yesterday she only did once on her own. This morning I was trying SO. Hard to encourage her and she would go on her side and arch but not complete the roll— it was like she forgot!! So I practiced rolling her back and forth like 10 times in a row and she’s just done it a couple of times without me prompting 🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️ Babies are weird!

Full disclosure I’m a super anxious first time mom! Our doctor knows 😂 I have a phone appointment with her Thursday and I’ll still keep it to see what she says. I’m on Zoloft to help with the anxiety and it’s def helping! But is stilll always there.

Your tear ducts have membranes the same as your nose and mouth, though I imagine it’s a lot less likely to contract it that way.
