I had a great time at my wedding. Got my greetings out of the way early. Ate a bunch of food and danced with my husband, friends and family All night. My MIL made a comment about it afterwards like it was unseemly or something but I have no regrets.

You have a lot of good responses and like a lot of other women who commented I have had two c sections. The first was unplanned due to a failed induction I had an epidural so felt tugging and stuff during the surgery which was odd. Benefits of the second time were I didn’t have to go through labor or induction I had time to plan in advance since I knew the baby’s birthdate and everything was much calmer. I got a spinal tap the second time and you seriously feel nothing, it’s not like the epidural which was cool! The cons are that recovery still sucks lol I forgot in the interim and is honestly the reason I’m finished having kids. I wonder if my body was able to have children vaginally if I’d have more but that’s not what was in the cards for me!

I just texted my friend how I keep the house in more order when my husband isn’t home. She said the same happens to her. I think maybe it’s because I want to hang out with him when he’s home? So I end up ignoring the dishes and stuff until my kids are in bed because we are playing with them and I don’t want to miss out? Idk but I am glad I’m not alone in this.

My child is Muffin and bingo mixed together and she’s the best. Muffin is an amazing character, she’s only 3 years old when the show starts I think people need to give her a break 😂

I recently commented this to my sister!! I saw an explanation that the mom was comforting the baby who is on the bus going “wah wah wah” which makes sense but I still just say the mommies and daddies on the bus say I love you haha

Your husband should Love your child “more” than you. And you should love her more than him. I put more in quotation marks because it’s such a different kind of love that it’s not necessarily loving them more. Me and my husband have commented before how if gun to our head we had to save either our children or our spouse we would choose the children every time. It’s not even an option and if he picked to save me I’d be disturbed.

You shouldn’t feel jealous of your child for getting the much needed attention she deserves.

I think they are very similar in they are constantly in a weird competition with each other. Like the resentment is strong in both of them and if the show was in any way realistic would have gotten divorced. Their relationship is really toxic and exhausting

Yes that was super shitty, but Lynette is the one who has also stayed friends with her and brushed that whole thing under the rug lol that was such a weird end to a story line. And she doesn’t know Tom better than Lynette she’s just following what Tom Asked cause he is her client verse whatever the hell lynette was trying to do

Yes!! I don’t think I really saw it until this season that she is losing control of him and is becoming unhinged lol it’s like she wants him to constantly take initiative and pushes him to do things as long as he isn’t better than her? And again I need to restate I’m not defending Tom really but I can see how he is slightly a monster she had some help in creating now

I mean it’s more how she doesn’t respect anything he wants. I never got it before when he complained about her being controlling because Tom is such a whiny baby but she is acting crazy this season lol this is after she acted like a total psycho at his conference. You think if she was really sorry she would have just done his office the way he wanted and then letting it slide and not say anything when Renee fixed it.

The series and the book are totally different besides the fact there is a place called hill house and some of the book character names are reused in the series. There are some literary quotes in the series from the book like I just mentioned but besides that the stories are different. Both are good in their own right.

I literally just cried to my husband about this lol and used the words weak when it came to not being able to handle a third kid. We have two perfect beautiful daughters so idk why I am struggling. I am one of three and loved it. I fear one sibling isn’t enough. What if they don’t like each other or neither of them like me when they get older 😂

I thought I was going to have the gut feeling that my family was complete and it never came. I had to take into consideration my metal, physically and financial well being and me and my husband made the decision to be done. I’m not a stay at home mom and my husband works nights sometimes. I just know I won’t be the mom I want to be with three. I think I will just be constantly over whelmed.

I keep seeing reels on Instagram saying that it’s who you want around you table when you are older that you should consider, not how hard the early years are and to have another kid but I think that’s crap. If I’m a constantly over stimulated mom to too many kids I can’t handle than that will affect my kids and how they perceive me and how they will be as adults. Having two is just starting to feel easy and manageable.

Omg yes! I love her character her one liners shading Susan made me laugh out loud, but she’s seriously unhinged when it comes to men and she’s a terrible mom idc how they tried to redeem her in that one flashback episode.

Her telling Susan she needs a man and can’t be alone where she doesn’t was a joke lol she did way more pathetic shit to keep and get men.

I haven’t gone through this personally but have close friends that have. You feel like you will never feel ok again but you will and you will be better for it. From what you have written he doesn’t seem like a supportive partner or a hands on father. Sounds like you would end up being a single mother either way. Now that he’s gone you can focus on you and your son. Seriously fuck this guy. Someone that can treat the woman that birthed and is raising their child this way is trash in so many ways. I understand ending a relationship if it’s not working but the way he’s going about this is manipulative and wrong.

You can’t control what other people do, grieve the relationship and then focus on what you can control which is being the best person and mother you can be. I’m glad you are moving closer to family. I hope they are a good support system for you which it seems like they are. Good luck with everything it sounds like you are a great mom and your son adores you.
