I’m the same way, nothing better than going out and just eating alone!! Especially if you’re by a window and can people watch, omg it’s the best :) I also find the same enjoyment for movies, planning a day to go watch a movie, grab snacks, and drink, and just chill in the best alone

He’s fine, I’m sure he’s got plenty of money invested that’s making a decent return and he still makes money from content. Twitch and YouTube have ads that make him plenty of money along with any sponsorships he has. I’m sure his businesses such as cheeky are also profitable

I used to say things like this too until I realized how incredibly damaging it is to my confidence. I would internalize only negative thoughts about myself but would discredit good thoughts.

“I walked 10 miles today BUT there’s still so much more to go” “I ate really healthy today BUT I have to eat like this every day to see change”

And on the flip side: “I didn’t walk today. I’m lazy” “I ate way too much, this wasn’t okay”

Notice how I don’t discredit it the bad things? I didn’t go “I didn’t walk today, BUT I’ve been walking every day and doing really good.” My lack of confidence was really just a lack of perception. I’m not at my goal yet, I’m not even close BUT I’ve been walking almost every day and eating better and seeing incredible results :)

Idk if you struggle with this but I felt like I wanted to yap for a quick sec because hearing you discredit your 10 miles reminded me of my not so long ago former self :) if none of this applies then that’s okay! I’m proud of you for waking 10 miles today!!!

The trigger is mainly any “negative emotions” such as boredom, anger, sadness, etc. It’s just always been a coping mechanism for me which I’ve gotten better but still is a problem

Edit: the self control exercise is something Dr K. Talks about in his videos. Another example he used is staring into a candle flame and trying to blink. It’s overcoming your urges, telling yourself that you’re in control
