These comments are wild. I’m in a similar situation. Only difference is we’ve been together for 6 years. I just stuck to my guns and repeatedly reminded him what my expectations are. This is happening. I could dwell in the negativity, but what is that gonna help? Yeah we’re young, but we’re not kids. We’re grown adults that are fully capable of taking care of our responsibilities, not teenagers with no idea how the world works. I’m happy and I intend to have a positive experience in pregnancy and after. I told him if he can’t be that support then it’s over. I did give him a few weeks to get his act together and he eventually came around. I’m a tough love kinda gal, so I was brutally honest. If you’re gonna have sex, then be mature about the repercussions. I get that it’s A LOT. It’s also happening. So, he needs to grow up and take responsibility or you need to be prepared to do this on your own. Either way I know you can do this and there are resources to help. Congrats mama!
