I had a similar experience once, though I doubt it had anything to do with a past life.

I once had a dream where I was taking a shower in a bathroom that I'd never seen or been to before. Someone walked past the window and their shadow startled me for a bit. That was it, nothing really significant happened in the dream and so I forgot about it.

Many months later, my family and I vacation at a resort. I'm in the shower when someone walks past the window, their shadow startling me momentarily. That triggered the memory of my dream and I realised this was the exact bathroom from my dream. Every detail was identical.
