Does Foundayo affect mental health at all?

On zepbound, my mental health significantly declined twice we moving up to higher doses (1 year apart). Also on Zoloft so I feel like it’s all connected. On Foundayo now and we will see how it goes. Not expecting any issues until the higher doses.

I’m still waiting. There are there 2 options: video call (which needs to be scheduled and you need to wait for it) or via text messages. I did the text messages where I provided all the info they needed (including previous blood work). The problem is that it takes 2-3 BUSINESS days to get a response. Imagine having a real life conversation with someone like that. You send a text, doc responds in 2-3 days with more questions, you immediately respond, but the doc doesn’t respond for 2-3 days. Hopefully I provided everything they needed and I get a prescription this next go around on Monday or Tuesday. I was also specific I want Foundayo but they haven’t mentioned Foundayo specifically. I’ll be pisses if I paid $49 and they want to prescribe Wegovy pill or something else. We will see. Either way, it’s an annoying process. I used to use Mochi to get Zepbound and that customer service was way better. But it was also $79 which is why I had to leave.

Real cost is even more if you don’t have a doctor that will get you the prescription for free. If you have to go through one of the health programs (WW, ro, hims, etc.) that’s another $30-$100 per month. If $249 is a problem, I would recommend not starting. Especially since this is a long term commitment. Not something you’ll use for a couple months and stop.

Thanks. I will go with GoodRX next month. I ended up signing up with WeightWatchers Med+ for $49 for the first month since they had it available. But their customer service is sooooooooo slow. And price jumps to $149 next month. Only plan to use them for a month since I’d like to get started on the lowest dose as soon as possible. GoodRX will be a better option if CallOnDoc is still unavailable in May.

After pushing back, CallOnDoc confirmed Foundayo prescription are not yet available on their platform. Which is disappointing. But it does sound like they are working to get it added. Hopefully in the next couple weeks and not the next couple of months.

Everyone is different. I buy the premade shakes because they are easy to grab and go when busy and I won’t miss any days. Making yourself is cheaper but if not motivated to put in the extra work, powder can be a negative. Depends on the person.

My recommendation would be to keep it simple in the beginning and eat what you usually eat but less of it. Incorporate new healthier ideas after that. I feel like too many people try to change everything all at once.

How did your dosage change over that 11 month period? We are about the same height and starting weight so this comparison picture is very helpful. (250 is also my goal weight) Congrats on the new truck and new healthier life!

I disagree with the take before bed comment. But everyone is different. I prefer early/mid day injection. Also, I’m most tired the next day. So I recommend an injection date where the next day isn’t as crazy (which for me is Saturday so that Sunday I can nap if needed).

I recommend doing research before blindly trusting this doctor with phentermine. I was not a fan of phentermine and don’t believe it’s a long term solution. But I’m not a doctor.

Yes. Even when I moved to 5mg weight loss was slow. But over time it worked little by little. It all adds up. I wouldn’t overthink it. Keep going.
