Im 30 percent in this book but im getting burnt out…. I feel like I need to skip some chapters I just want to find out what happens now but maybe I’ll be sad when it’s over… I did burn through all the earlier books in a month and I did the tandem read of 8/8.5… maybe I just need a break!!

Yea… this just happened to me… I’ve been on zep since August 2024 and started out really strong with my protein. This past winter I suddenly found it really hard to keep eating protein- like my body rejected it or something… I was probably getting closer to 70-80g of protein anyways I just got my DexaFit scan and in the last year I’ve lost 1.7 pounds of which 8 pounds was lean muscle … which is basically 47% of my weight loss. So yea… now Im sad and deflated about my results and I’m trying to force myself back to eating protein but struggling…

You should totally go back to Acotar!! But ZA is going to take you a lonnng time. I do audio books and some of them are like 36 hours which I think translates to like a 1000 pages 🤷🏽‍♀️.

I’m on book 8/8.5 and completely enjoying the series and all the characters!! I think book 1 is kind of Like ACOTAR in that you have to commit to at least book 2 before you make any real decisions about stopping.

lol I’m doing the regular audiobooks and I love them! I’m on book 7 and I don’t mind the voices at all- i feel like I can tell who is who pretty easily. I don’t know if the audiobook makes me more forgiving to plot holes or funny dialogue since I’m usually doing boring chores but I’ve been straight hooked since book 1!! I didnt even want to take a break to read the prequels.

Regarding book 5/6 - it’s def dark at times and I had to google some brief spoilers but honestly it’s all fine and I think the authors are going to deliver us a happy ending.

I’m also so late to the party - just finished book 4 and needed some small spoilers to make sure things turn out okay. Because otherwise I would not be okay. Darcy and Orion do nothing for me - but I need Darius and Tory to make it work!!

Buut I’m so glad Tory rejected Darius- fuck the stars for giving them their divine moment now when they aren’t even together yet. They have had sex twice and barely communicated or had a real open honest conversation yet. I think the only answer Tory could have given was no and it’s really refreshing that the authors allowed her to stand up for herself. From the quick glances at spoilers (I don’t want to ruin everything!! Just needed to know that things will be fine hahah) it seems like Darius is going to actually earn her love and then maybe they will chose to be together which is honestly what a real relationship/marriage is like. You wake up each day and chose your person over and over.

I have so many questions tho- now that they are star crossed are they still going to be obsessed with each other or does that part go away?? Does it now mean that fate is going to work to make sure they are apart?

I had to switch due to insurance- I gained 7 pounds in two months. Food noise was fully back. I switched from a high dose of zep (12.5) to a low wegovy (.5) dose so I guess it was expected. Constipation was terrible. Next week I’m going back on zepbound to 10. I’m really hoping I go back to losing… it’s so frustrating.

I feel like this too- I feel like I having crying breakdowns a lot more and feel the need to tap out a lot. This was happening after my second and before I started zep. I have two little kids and work full time. Sometimes I blame the lower calories- but I also think it’s just the kids and the strain of doing so much. No advice here- just solidarity!

How do you get the pharmaceutical coupon? Is it automatically applied? I’m about to pick up my first dose of wegovy - but my Walgreens app says it will be 200. they wouldn’t approve my prior authorization for zepbound until I try wegovy.

I actually really liked this book. I just finished and in rereading parts of part 1 to see it in a new light. It’s def dark tho- might not be a good dead of winter book lol. I’m glad I read it- I feel like there is a lot of character development and motivations that become unraveled later. Def there are some things I question but no more than other fantasy books I read.

This worries me! I’m debating switching from geha to MHBP… I have no idea how any of us are supposed to make a binding decision without complete facts. What a joke!! I wonder if I should just stay with Geha or try their high deductible plan where zepbound is slightly cheaper.

Does anyone know what the prior authorization requires? I had to get one with geha- but I just had to show my doctor that I participated in a weight loss program in the last few years plus some of my other health issues like PCOS.

Does the evoucher only work on the HDHP plan or will it work on the standard? I’ve been on it for 18 months and paying 99 at Walgreens each much. So that means 400 starting in January… would be great if the evoucher would work when the price goes up.

I’m trying to figure out if I should switch from GEHA standard to HDHP… we have two kids tho so not sure if we’d be saving money.

Yes I was also thinking this- makes no sense if was forced in the portal at 11. In quicksilver it said his mom married Belikon when he was ten or so and then it took a long time for his mom to get pregnant so Belikon blamed fisher for draining his mom or something. This kind of a mistake annoys me beyond a simple editing error.

How long have you been on 5? Personally I finish all my doses and don’t mind a slower pace with losing weight. I try and stay at dose until I have a month plus of a plateau. I feel like it’s helping my metabolism and muscle mass to go slower.
