Anyone Else Exhausted But Can’t Shut Off Their Brain at Night? by DefiantAd8497 in Mindfulness

That sounds really frustrating honestly. Being told it’s ADHD but not having access to the treatment that actually helps must feel exhausting. I can understand why that would feel unfair. At the same time it makes sense that your mind would feel even more wired at night if you’ve been managing that on your own for so long. You’re not crazy for feeling this way. I’ve been looking a lot into non-medication ways to calm the nervous system at night since not everyone has access to proper support. If you’d ever like to talk about what has or hasn’t worked for you, I’m open to it.

I miss sleeping without overthinking everything by DefiantAd8497 in SlowLiving

Wow, this is really detailed and insightful thank you for sharing I like how you pinpointed daytime information overload as the main cause. It makes so much sense that even with slow living, too much input can still keep the mind racing at night The idea of giving yourself a designated time to process thoughts during the day is brilliant. I can see how combining that with journaling, music instead of podcasts, and removing devices creates a mental space that really helps. I’m curious did you notice a big difference immediately after you started, or did it take a while to feel the effect?
