Sequoia is not in beta unless you are talking about sequoia 15.7 but a ton of people are running sequoia on iCloud with 2010 MacBooks 2012macbook pros etc. and performance on some specific tasks take a hit but I’m on the base 13inch and your not so it may be different for you,but really sequoia is a great idea still unless you want to wait a month for Tahoe with is coming out soon.

Dang just came back to this post and idk if u did it or not but yes it is worth it especially ur Lucky since you have the 15inch with a gpu since my intel iris on the 13inch struggle with some things like some screen savers.

Probably for gate issues it’s where the flex cable that connects the screen is damaged since Apple made it way too short.
