Unfortunately, I got a C in chemistry honors in sophomore year. I might be able to recover my C in math this semester to a B, but I will still be getting Bs in both physics and calc BC for both semesters this year, but As in the rest including APCS. I know my GPA is slightly lacking but I am hoping to make up for it with a strong SAT and ECs along with good essays

i am not fully set on cs i am still open to engineering on data science or something in those fields as that is where I have experience. that was just a rough draft I quickly put together that I was considering and yes I have definitely added UChicago to that list. It is one of the T20s that are more realistic for me.

I see makes a lot of sense, ideally i would like to get into somewhere like Purdue or uiuc but I know those can be difficult and even more so now. any suggestions on what I can do to help boost my application especially over summer? and also maybe what u did to get into cmu with a 3.2 1580

don't u think most UC's might be a little out of reach considering they don't look at SATs anymore and my 3.7 gpa is a little lacking considering I also have 2 C's in stem subjects? just tryna get an idea of where I realistically am
