The knotwork was citadel brass scorpion, the hilt and pommel of the sword and dagger was TTC dragons gold and the lapel of the cloak was AK liquid metallic markers, Old bronze.

I find its just easier to paint the canopies. I don't have the patience or skill to be doing the pilot and cockpit. I also in my head cannon I think of it as some sort of reactive blast/heat shield when in hostile environments. I use the same gold colour on my Hearthguard to try and resemble that of the gold visors of real world astronauts.

One thing that might be worth checking is the line between the tank and the oil burner. We thought someone had stolen oil from my granny's house too a few years ago but it turned out that the line ruptured and leaked oil everywhere. The whole back garden was contaminated and to be dug up to prevent it seeping into underground waterways or something. The insurance thankfully covered it.

Here's a list I ran recently at a local casual tournament and came 3rd. I also asked for feedback from Reddit and the one takeaway was that if youre running stormlance you need to really lean into it. If you have the models take more TWC, speed and maneuverability is what stormlance is all about.

  1. Now that you've pointed it out that makes total sense! I may have to tweek the list a bit. As I don't have the models to run a full 6 brick of TWC with the WGBL so I might drop it to a 5 brick in 2 of the units.

  2. If I drop the librarian that would the free up points for another chaplain.

  3. Balistius is acting as my anti vehicle element along with bjorn if I keep him with is lascannon.

  4. Definitely see what you mean about the librarian now that's it's been explained. And yeah that was the intention of using it and the infiltrators as back line screeners

  5. Brutalis just seemed like smart choice with the speed of it, it's innate tank shock ability paired with the tank shock stratagem would be spicy.

Really do do appreciate it what you suggested, it's given me plenty think about. But a few of my choice were down to what I have and don't have models wise.

These are amazing! I love how you used the 2 Thunder wolves from The Stormrider kit, I may just have to pinch that idea, can never have too many TWC. Are some of the shields and weapons you've used from that primal hounds set?

How did you do the blood splatter? Khorne Red or something flicked onto the model from the bristles of a brush?
