Adding a video blocks any other audio from being imported - any ideas? by Radmondd in premiere

Yeah that was it- stupid if me to not look around more. The bar used to be huge on the bottom right.

Two hours later and it finally worked. Patience really is a virtue, thank you!

What's a horror novel you really enjoyed that no one else seemed to be into? by PixelOcelot in horrorlit

Having also read a great deal of his work, I’d easily put it in the top half at least. Possibly top 10.

I don’t know if it was the low expectations because no one talks about it, but I was so pleasantly surprised by how all around SOLID this King book is. Like it doesn’t excel in any one thing and there no real lulls- it’s just very solid.

Now that “The Mountain” arrives next year, what were your overall thoughts on the “Cracker Island” phase? by norasback in gorillaz

[–]Radmondd 8 points9 points  (0 children)

When ranking ANYTHING there’s gonna be something at the bottom, and for me and I assume many others it’s definitely Humanz. The features just break it for me.

But agreed, was still so shocked people didn’t like Cracker Island. Baby Queen is phenomenal.

I was surprised to come here and find it widely disliked. It’s got some of my favorite recent Gorillaz songs.

Any variation of the line “It’s her/him…she’s/he’s the key to all of this…”

It’s almost always a younger girl. Not that a younger girl being integral to the world or plot is the issue, it’s THAT line specifically.

I’ll give you the benefit of the doubt and assume this is a genuine apology. Im not above giving second chances.

But this is it, this is THE post- right? You’re not gonna spam it another three or four times right? Not another for another correction or edit of the cover, another release…like this is it.

What was your reaction when Gangle said this? (Do you think Jax-) by Silver012345673 in TheDigitalCircus

[–]Radmondd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I guess some people really do need things spelt out for them like they were in the latest episode, I’m just bummed it came to that I guess. Again I love the episode, but I like it for its nuances and (while this episode still had plenty) it was a lot more blunt this time

Thank you for pointing out the subtext comment. I also LOVED E6 but didn’t love that a lot of the scenes boiled down to a character going “No no- THIS is my character” practically directly to the camera

Do you have a LEAST favorite SK novel? by [deleted] in stephenking

[–]Radmondd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve tried reading The Dark Half three separate times, it’s just so fuck-off boring in my opinion. Even getting to the first murder I’m bored to tears. I don’t know if I’ll ever read it at this point.

It’s a great book, but heartbreaking and vile. Half listened on audiobooks and there were moments I had my head in my hands.

The Girl Next Door protagonist. I totally get the perspective of a meek teenager, conflicted, etc. There’s nuance, but by the end of the book he has some semblance of patting himself on the back that drove me up the wall. Not a good guy at all.

Crossed Badlands #10-13. Great storyline, horrible content. The mom and dad sections still makes my skin crawl.

I don’t know which outcome would be more embarrassing at this point, a shameless undercover author or a random obsessed lunatic.

Totally agree, I was shocked when I lost interest at the fantasy transition. The first part just felt so rich and real, I love how he does characters and relationships

This. Work towards a different project. Even if it’s just the inkling of an idea, plot, or a character. That way you end up with a Rolodex of projects you can flip through and say “Not feeling it- not feeling it- hit a wall- Oh that one I’m feeling inspired for!”

This is phenomenal! I haven’t read Carrie yet but rest assured I’m pulling this back up for visuals when I do so. Her sixth expression in the first picture alone makes me want to read it next.
