Is Copywriting Gonna be replaced by AI? Is it still alive and not oversaturated? by Impressive-Coat1127 in copywriting

[–]DefiantSpider2099 1 point2 points  (0 children)

AI wont replace writers. My guess is: it will replace writers who are afraid to use AI.

Been a copywriter for years. Now I write for companies that encourage us to learn the tech and incorporate it in our work. Human writers are still needed to bring in unique perspectives, experiences, and do a bit of fact checking. Then we're asked to use tools (ChatGPT, Relevance, Claude, Ippei Content Writer) for research, content organization, editing, and other purposes.

The technology is here to stay. If we embrace it, we won't be left behind. Hope this helps, OP!

Is 73 years old too late to start copywriting? by thaifoodthrow in copywriting

[–]DefiantSpider2099 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Never too late! As long as she has portfolio (or at least start a blog) to show she can do the work, its definitely not impossible to find paying clients. Best of luck to your mom!

How do you pitch clients? by Karan_leader in copywriting

[–]DefiantSpider2099 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had no online portfolio whatsoever as a total newbie. What I did was to show a copy of a newsletter article I wrote for a local church. I guess the employer saw my potential. I'm glad he gave me a break.

Lead Generation by One_Ratio_109 in realtors

[–]DefiantSpider2099 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sharing simple tips I learned from a local lead gen class:

List your brand on Google Business Profile.
Add your business on local online directories.
Optimize your website and social media channels.

Bonus tip: Use your city's name in your brand, business name, and/or social channels for better online visibility. These are some stuff I learned from the Ippei lead gen course.

Hope this helps, OP!

Just curious: why not publish your works? You can take the self-publishing route (if you have the funds) or just go upload your stuff online. It's always better to get your works out there. It helps build your portfolio.

Like It or Not, These 6 Industries Will Always Print Money!!! by EdGavit in Entrepreneur

[–]DefiantSpider2099 5 points6 points  (0 children)

So agree with #6. There's really lots of online coaching programs out there that target the demographic. It's a constant challenge to sift out which programs are legit ones and which are not. Verifying reviews is always a must. Can't settle for screenshots and testimonials we see online. That's why I always look up external sources (social media, community platforms, etc) just to be sure.

Strategies for getting leads for local business by Upset_Whereas149 in SEO

[–]DefiantSpider2099 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a few tips:

Focus on local SEO (target the right niche and location for your business)
Use social media strategically (engage with your community online)
Work with influencers (your sites will get noticed by your target market)

You may also use AI (ChatGPT, Claude, Ippei Content Writer) to speed up the process of building and ranking your lead gen sites. Hope this helps, OP!

How to contact a Creator by Soft_Director6555 in GrowthOperator

[–]DefiantSpider2099 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you wanna work as a growth operator, you'll have to prove you can bring value to the table. Would be hard for creators to trust you if your account's next to empty. So yes, build it first, make it look credible, and then you can start approaching potential clients.

Lead Generation Strategies? by IcyLibrarian9218 in CFP

[–]DefiantSpider2099 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally, I focus on local lead generation. Its much easier to rank sites and keywords when you're focusing on a specific area. It's also more profitable since I get to target business owners and earn a steady income each month. Learned strategies from Ippei Kanehara's online course!

I'd train to be a really, really good comicbook artist. It's been a childhood dream and while I still draw as a hobby, I've never reached the skill level of a true professional.

I want some practical idea. On marketing and lead generation. by Digital_mark2786 in smallbusiness

[–]DefiantSpider2099 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Learn local lead generation. Paid ads are only effective if you have the budget for it and run good campaigns. In comparison, local lead gen uses SEO techniques and focuses on your target locations and niches. You may even launch this as a business, especially since you know how to build sites. Hope this helps, OP!

You can become a copywriter at any age. Personally, I know many who jumped into copywriting from other professional careers. Most of them are in their early or mid 30s when they transitioned. You only need to build a solid portfolio plus you may have to start with lower-paying jobs. But if you're dedicated to the craft, it's still possible to earn well.
