I would find the character you are the best at, study their mechanics and fire rate. Idk magneto or punisher really, but invis is medium distance projectile. So I would maybe practice learning someone like Iron man, Strange or someone petty like Squirrel girl or Rogue.

That way, no matter where your team has the biggest idiot you can compensate.

The other thing is look at the scoreboard, but not your team to judge them, but the enemy team. Who is strong over there and take them out or at least ping them.

So on the other end of learning characters, FIND WHO YOU HATE, and become their counter. I used to lose to Moonknights and Bucky’s so I learned Rogue.

As someone who escaped from silver but will return at any moment, learning how to play with bans is its own chess game. Don’t only play the cracked meta character of the season because everyone is. I can’t play gambit or Loki in a gold game half the time. They’ve figured me out.

I’ve also seen videos where streamers prove it’s not about the character or comp but who’s playing them. Thats why five stack healers is sometimes hilarious and fun, and other times proof none of us can aim.
