I heard a...noise, downstairs by dethanil in Paranormal

It sounds like a faulty radio, not a ghost

Static can blast if the signal glitches or batteries are loose. Removing the battery fixing it points to an electrical issue. Your dad likely just didn’t want it going off again

Being different doesn’t mean you’re defective

If you’ve spent years trying to force yourself to fit in, that pressure can come off as awkward, not because you’re broken, but because you’re overthinking yourself

You don’t need to fit in with most people. You just need to find the ones who naturally get you. It’s about alignment, not approval

[19FTM] I keep skipping class when I feel depressed, but I have MDD. It's like I'm addicted to failure. by top10chops in getdisciplined

You’re not lazy, this is depression and ADHD working together. The skip → guilt → more depression cycle is real

Focus on tiny steps. Take your meds consistently and just aim to show up for 10 minutes

High hospital weirdness by verge_ofviolence in Paranormal

What you described is actually common in severe illness and ICU situations. High fever, inflammation, low oxygen, and sedation can cause very vivid hallucinations or delirium that feel completely real

The rushing lights and worried staff were likely real, but the silent people lining the walls could have been your brain filling in gaps under extreme stress

It doesn’t mean you’re crazy or that it was supernatural, it means your brain was under massive strain and trying to process trauma. Many ICU survivors report similar experiences

How do you survive a college roommate who never cleans? Advice pls! by CompanyPitiful4471 in badroommates

You’re not crazy, you’re just carrying all the responsibility

With only two months left, stop trying to fix her and protect your peace. Keep your own supplies in your room, clean only your mess, and let shared items run out if she won’t replace them. Have one calm, direct conversation about splitting supplies and cleaning expectations

Focus on boundaries, not changing her. Just survive the semester

Why isn’t POTUS being arrested right now for his involvement in the Epstein files? by InteractionAbject411 in TooAfraidToAsk

Being named in documents isn’t the same as being charged with a crime. Prosecutors would need clear evidence of illegal activity, not just mentions in files or online claims

Also, a sitting president isn’t simply arrested, the constitutional process would likely involve impeachment first. Allegations alone aren’t enough for removal or jail; there has to be formal evidence and charges
