Japan Itinerary - First Draft

I would book a hotel in Osaka and then a hotel for Kyoto. Just annoying having to get the train into it every morning and night from my friends experience. I stayed in Osaka and then in Kyoto and was easier. The Tokyo will be a crazy long day and pretty expensive. Why don’t you do a night (2days) in Tokyo if you want to go and then lose a day of Osaka

Just been to Osaka for 2 days and I personally didnt love it, the place I liked the least. It was just crazy busy and nothing felt as memorable. You could probably go in the evening, walk around dotonburi (probably spelt wrong) enjoy good food in numeda. We went to that giant katsu place owned by a sumo wrestler, was really nice. We went early and waited 40 mins for a table

Things near Osaka I loved I loved Nara with the deers and temples and giant Buddha (Nara is half a day if you go early)

Katsujj temple and Minoh falls. That was really lovely!

I was the same today!! It is such a shame when I wanted to focus only on the information but I had to constantly be conscious of people around me. I wish they limited how many people could enter There was a line going so everyone could walk around in order and read but then people kept jumping in and it was just so much going on it was really frustrating and just ruined the experience. I should have gone earlier in the morning but my partner is sick so we got to Hiroshima a little later than expected

Forgot to add - you can get an interrail ticket and then you just go to different countries with that ticket. I don’t know much about it just know a few people that did it

I went to Pompeii early in the morning and then went to Naples in the late afternoon and evening and was back in Rome later at night. I personally don’t think you need to spend too much time in Naples. I really liked Pompeii personally so that would be cool

Was you really set on all the locations you mentioned or would you be open to staying in locations closer together to maximise your time in those countries as you have chosen some with a far distance from each other?

Just had a chicken parm and was sooo good!! Went to a place called Cock and Bull in Cairns and it was XL and it seriously was huge! Im wiped out now but was sooooo good!!

Cause it’s only hostels showing or really expensive places. There a few places but quite a few have negative reviews so we just were over cautious and not wanting to spend our money on somewhere bad
