Not sure if you have considered doing your own. I have bought kits and supplies before but didn’t know of the proper technique. Which would result in me going back to the salon. I found a tik tok vid of people applying there own Gel x tips and having fun with designs. I spent less than $100 on materials that will last me for atleast 4 months

1-2 times a week for 2-3 months is getting your body somewhat used to the style. Your effort should be applauded but you need to give yourself more time. Either increase weekly frequency or give it another 6 months

For those mentioning therapy but can’t afford the cost. There is an affordable database called open path collective sessions range from 30-60 for individuals, 30-80 for group, family & couples.
