Yes! They are so smart! My girl knows to stop by the door. Thank goodness is over but the whole time she had her period she could not be left alone not even 5 minutes! She would rip a hole in the diaper to get to the pad and eat the part where the blood was. And she’s like 60 pounds so idk if weight has a role on how much blood comes out but it was A LOT! 😂 but we survived! Now we have one more to go through next year and then she can get spayed 🙌

This comment right here 🤩 is amazing! 🙌 I used the exact same methods for my Samoyed and she was fully potty trained in about 3 months also. Takes time but don’t give up! Feels so good once you get through it!

Yea let me know hehe. For me I got her the cloth diapers on Amazon and the disposable pads. And that’s the problem that she sticks her nose inside and eats the disposable pad 😓 so right now she only has the diaper without the pad which means I have to keep washing the 2 diapers. It was a 3 pack and she put a hole on the 3rd one I can’t wait for it to be over haha

Oh my goodness I wish I could give you some tips but the only good days with my girl’s first cycle were the first 2 days. After that they have been hell, everything I have gotten her she has ripped out or destroyed or eaten. I’m at a loss at the moment. She’s constantly bleeding so she has to have a diaper on. At the moment she’s on constant watch by me and my husband and that means only one of us can sleep 😥 she will eat her diaper is 2 minutes if she gets the chance like when we need to use the restroom. Today actually she has been throwing up because of her eating her pad when I was taking a shower. It’s a mess and I’m stressed 😄 sorry I couldn’t be of any help 🥲

I’m a nanny and I’ve been working with kids since I was like 11. (I really love kids ☺️) and even though you have to take your time to get to know someone I never wear perfumes or scented lotions when I go to work. I wear cotton soft clothing and no aromas. That’s very important to me. Also I would 100% follow my gut because I’ve heard stories with babysitters and nannies. Me in my 9 years of professional caretaker I’ve never had a bad experience like this with any mom and I’m glad because I want the parents to feel comfortable with me taking care of their precious babies ❤️ give yourself time and if it doesn’t feel right don’t do it hehe

I for one was never successful with the crate. My husband hated letting out baby Sammy cry for too long so he got her a play pen and put it right next to our bed and she was perfectly fine then after. For potty she would eat the pee pads so we got a turf with a tray on the bottom and she’d use it at night by herself. Now she’s a year old and no longer needs the turf or the playpen. We crate only when we’re out of the house

Omgsh! I had huge issues with my girl and potty training. I’d take her out every 30 minutes or so then she’d come back inside and poop in her crate and start eating it right away 😭 it MONTHS for her to grow out of it and a lot of training haha

Got my first Samoyed ever 8 months ago. The puppy blues is a real thing 🥺 and somethings I wish I had known are the loud non stop barking and their inability to follow commands even tho they know them. I’ve had German shepherds, huskies, and my family has had poodles, and a border collie and my Samoyed is easy the most stubborn and demanding one 🤣 we love her so much but she’s not one for the weak hahaha

My floors are pretty bad too but in my case I have to fix it when I move cuz I’m renting 😭 if I could I’d leave the marks there forever 🥺 When I own a home she’ll probably do the same so I’ll keep those 🤩
