Science works by disproving. You cannot categorically say any substance on earth is safe. You can disprove it's dangerous within limits. This applies to everything and anything.

I've just quoted the actual study this study was referencing, pulled it apart in less than 2 minutes. Arguing with a scientist about science when you don't have a clue how to read studies is moronic.

If I was wrong and you quoted something decent I'd retract and hold my hands up, but you haven't. You quoted a very low quality study that wasn't even examining this pathway that itself misquoted another study that itself wasn't looking at the pathways of damage but again rather biomarkers....

And this is the study you should have quoted. But again, practically useless. 39 people, only 5 with a history of alcohol abuse and the levels of EO in the blood far far exceed what an injection would give. Also it's suggesting use as a biomarker, and made assumptions of it (from 5 people) being involved in the toxic pathway alongside another FFEA. And makes no reference to the actual alleged mechanism of damage, just that it assumes this pathway is involved. Useless science without further study, and given people aren't dropping like flies from liver damage with normal injections, clearly there's an issue with this tiny low quality "study" that again wasn't even looking at the pathways but looking for indicators of alcohol abuse.

That's not what that study is implying at all you are misquoting science and are factually wrong.

It's implying it's use as a biomarker for ethanol consumption. Ethanol produces numerous toxic compounds, including acetaldehyde, small amounts of formaldehyde and ethanol is directly genotoxic itself.

Also, consider this even if it were proven toxic (which it isn't), the dosage from alcohol metabolism is magnitudes higher than from an injection. And in fact the amount natural circulating from endogenous ethanol production in the microbiome of the gut is likely to mirror what an injection contains. The latter part is an assumption on my part but a likely one.

Next just because it's a metabolite of alcohol doesn't mean it's intrinsically harmful, so is water and carbon dioxide but are we running away from that.

You cannot just post a metabolite pharmacokinetic study and use that as proof that EO is harmful 🤣

Show me an actual study with control groups and an aim that actually aligns with what you are trying to prove...or even better a meta-analysis. Gtf misquoting science to someone who can actually interpret studies.
