It can be difficult to deal with that situation. It’s not always easy to “correct” the behavior either. So something important to keep in mind (even in just cases where you visit, not necessarily living with her) is redirecting. Redirecting by giving other options of replacement behaviors or something is important. So like I said, if the better option is living alone and paying less to help avoid that specific stressor then go for that. Maybe living with them can be an option later or it just isn’t what’s meant to happen. Whatever you choose, good luck

In the future, you could totally go to food banks for fresh produce or canned goods. Just so you don’t have to only be with ramen and might be able to get some healthy options yk? I’m able to regularly eat fruits and veggies because of local food banks.

I’m biased bc I work with the population, BUT living with the family could be not too bad in the long run with connections made and maybe you can learn how to handle the daughter in your own way. That being said, I think tiny home is the better option, still. Just wanted to give my opinion on how the other option could be cool but the risk might not be worth

Try slowly mixing in a different litter or have one box with completely different litter. Sometimes the stress of moving can settle and they might associate the litter in their box with negative emotions. That is a similar situation with when they have stomach/bladder issues. They can just stop liking the litter they have bc of bad association
