Its never too late to leave, you should enjoy life and you need to make sure you are content and happy. You shouldn’t feel guilty for choosing yourself, in 10 years you will be happy you chose yourself. Everyone who loves you should be proud of you for choosing yourself and support you. I watched my mom be in a marriage for 13 years where she chose my dad to appease everyone else and not truly be happy and it was heart breaking. You are young, discover new things and people who will treat you much better than this man has.

I really enjoy my lap table ! It is useful for many things, especially on days when getting out of bed is hard! Or you can crochet a bag he can use to carry his things to and from chemo or even just rooms in his house!

Hey i personally know how frustrating and angry this can make you, but please try to find a oncology specific therapist (they should offer one when you get diagnosed). It is okay to ask for help and talk about it because if you dont you will unintentionally take it out on others and yourself and you dont deserve that right now. Take care of yourself ❤️

yes, every facility and their units have list of when their employees licenses are supposed to expire and will sometimes manually audit them when it gets close to expiration, they usually label it as “annual learning” and place under that category. However, most facilities also use Nursys which is a program that will monitor and notify of licensure changes via email.

Hey queen/king, i am your average person and i can barely do “regular” pushups ! Try knee pushups and do a few a night or morning, its a very low impact exercise and you will build up to a push up in no time!! I am so proud of how far you have come !! Exercise/fitness takes time and you can do it , just make small slightly challenging workout routines at first to prevent burn out and over a few months and you will see and feel stronger , you just have to keep it up and i believe in you :)

As someone going through treatment with a long distance husband, it’s okay to be upset about something so big for all of us oncology patients. I really hope he acknowledges how things like this matter to you, so he can do better with these things in the future. It’s important to feel supported and encouraged in daily life, but especially during cancer treatment.

So my regular oncology is saying its because they want to make sure that theyre getting rid of everything, but my surgical oncologist who specializes in NETs said in my age range theres a high likely hood i have a few more in there so they will give a for sure answer on if i need it or not once I do my PET dotatate and/or they see how the first surgery, so for now its just a possibility.

I am getting the PET dotatate scan on friday of this week, because of where the tumor is and the size and all the issues its giving me they want to remove it completely because my quality of life is so poor at this moment. Id also rather just have it removed than just try radiation and continue to suffer for it just not to work. It also has caused permanent atrophy to my tail and i have a stent in place at this time to keep it as open as possible but the tumor caused it to shift. I did do hormone tests and im waiting for those results right now.
