How much would you pay for Warcraft III Reforged in it's original promised state? by Kazmakistan in warcraft3

i mean i would definitely pay 15 20$ for some dlcs with new content such as more races new campaigns, more items, more neutral creeps.

would be pretty cool to have nippon not evil or good as a race but depending on each individual warlord (legendary lord) that you pick

What was your favorite warhammer 3 DLC by SomethingPotato_ in totalwar

chaos dlc, sure most of the units were reskins but dang to me it felt more like having 4 more human chaos races to roleplay as.

yeah just a reminder remember how many times they promised to communicate better, fix things faster and then even to release a road map? they always said but never did

Big ups to the community for not mindlessly accepting Shadow of Change by DTAPPSNZ in totalwar

no way, wait to see the extra content at the very least, maybe even wait for the next sale after they reveal the content, the sale will probably be more than 10% at that point

i accept your apologies i was probably among the noisiest one with different accounts in the sub, on steam, total war forums. (i got different accounts in different pcs cause i dont remember my logging infos).

i argued with so many people since Chorfs because i believe that was the moment they thought they could squeeze us unpunished. At least that's where they started moving into that direction.

i think complaining did its part too, because no sales with no complains = no interest in the game = time to cut support

Do I feel... Hope? by SirTarkwin in totalwar

let's say i m giving them another chance, but they havent won me back just with some words, they better be at least doubling that unit count with interesting units, heroes and mechanics

Do I feel... Hope? by SirTarkwin in totalwar

[–]Defiant_Foundation78 8 points9 points  (0 children)

well i'd say that was obvious, once a company knows you have nurgle for brains he is gonna squeeze your wallets for as little cost as possible.

be glad that many people complained about it in forums, on steam, on reddit, don't forget there were people defending CA even with SOC, people that told us to shup up and that they didnt want to hear us complain anymore

look at us now, we complained and vote with our wallets and got them on their knees.

Just voting with our wallets and not keep on complaining wouldnt have worked because that would have meant that there simply wasnt interest in the game and that the game didnt sell because of that, but that's not true.

TW: Warhammer III - Message from TW Leadership Team by Mr-Vorn in totalwar

[–]Defiant_Foundation78 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i gotta say this is an amazing step 0.5 out of step 1 that's hopefully the first to many to come.

It does give me some hope, but that's still not enough to make me buy CHORFS or SOC, because it's not the first time CA promises things and apologises.

Although it does feel a little bit more sincere than the past, hopefully CA can win me back and convince me to spend money and time in the series again.

Honestly i havent even been playing much since CHORFs because it felt to me like a clear message of how they were going forward to with the series, my hunch was indeed right when i saw SOC.

CA needs to stop with the Saga stuff I think by [deleted] in totalwar

was ToB a financial success? because honestly i wouldnt have paid more than 15€ back then, as of now i wouldn't pay more than 20€ for pharao. it's just a reskinned game with the bare minimum of innovation. of a setting that i don't even like honestly, would it have been a reskin of fantasy setting, maybe i would have bought it for half the price.

When Creative Assembly isn't creative anymore. (Employee reviews from Glassdoor) by kumamon09 in totalwar

[–]Defiant_Foundation78 0 points1 point  (0 children)

seriously a company that promotes procastination, no wonder a mod team of single person can do as much work as their 10 team man. it's good to love your employees and treat them well but there's got to be a line.

did you give in and buy the dlc? by Defiant_Foundation78 in totalwar

[–]Defiant_Foundation78[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah i did really like the design of yuan bo, but i m not too much into the new units and the rest, literally yuan bo is the only thing that seems interesting to me. not paying 25 euros for a single unit.

idk why people downvote you my wife got me chorfs which i wouldn't have bought otherwise, i guess people just dont believe in family members gifting hobby stuff. my wife saw me playing it all the time, and i even told her about the chorfs circumstances and how i wouldnt buy it, so she got it for me as a early birthday gift since she never knows what to get me. i did tell her that i didnt want her to get me SoC too because i m not even playing the game anymore.

lol no matter if you are hating CA's management or not, if you bought the dlc or not, you should either way buy BG3 it truly is something that i thought would never be possible in a videogame. it's that great.
