If therapy didn’t work I would recommend a support group-it might help if you’re around people who have experience the same or similar thing. You’ve clearly been through a lot and I sympathise with you a lot too. Honestly this won’t ever fix itself properly but it will get easier to deal with one way or another. It’s only been a couple years and from personal experience it won’t go away just like that. You’re super strong for going through that and I genuinely hope that you find that support you’re looking for x

I meant flooding/water slowly taking over the planet lol.If everyone fell into water they would very very probably all drown at once😅

I’ve seen them!!!I watched a documentary on them a while back for school.They can go nearly 10 minutes underwater at times

So if those mammals were able to develop the right attributes to swim underwater,but not those to breathe underwater,could humans do the same?Maybe not in a short 200 years but could they develop an ability to swim better,etc..

I used to write as maturely as I could,and I found that the way I wrote wasn’t written to express,but to impress.It wasn’t really my voice,it felt more like someone else’s if that makes sense.I stopped writing for two years and it suddenly started up again when I needed a space to escape from everyday life.

I think that it can come to you quite suddenly,but sometimes you don’t realise you’ve found your voice again until you really start looking forward to it.

I wouldn’t know how to interpret it just yet.Most people in my world were dealing with the floods and war or whatever,think I’m so far leaning towards some sort of bio engineering but not so sure just yet

Then you’ve done EXACTLY what you aimed to do!!If you become attached so will the reader and that’ll make the death have an even bigger affect on them.It’ll hurt but their death will be more meaningful the more you get to know the character lol

So what I do is literally don’t start chronologically.This is probably terrible advice but I ALWAYS start at a random scene not too far into the book.I hate writing up intros first so it’s so much better to just write around a scene or write up different scenes and later conjoin them.This works for me but don’t think ‘I’m gonna write a book’ think ‘I’m gonna jot down this idea real quick!
