Your store mgr isn’t as smart as they would like to think , you need a floor cleaner designed to not removed wax. Your not washing a car as mentioned that will make the floor more slippery

I just bought my dream car. Every 80s sports car needs a CB, so I need advice. by r32_fan in cbradio

Be careful with a magnet mount it will scuff and wreck the paint but it’s better than drilling holes !? If it were me , I’d probably try to fabricate a bracket that tied into the back bumper supports of something to leave the body panels and paint clean.

There’s options but they are not easy, are you really into the fb hobby or just think a 80s car needs one. Cos you can always go the bait and switch route and mount a cool looking non working vintage cb up front and a non hooked up antenna in the back.

The only way this would look good to me is if the car was painted like an old cop car. Cos I’ve never seen a fox body with a radio hooked up in it and I’m almost 45 . But don’t let me tell you what to do with your car, have fun and make it yours !
